Brie and cranberry sandwich gives you FOOD POISONING!!!! I contacted the customer service who claims 'Although occasionally food poisoning is due to the last meal eaten, this is often not the case and depending on the type of food poisoning, the contaminated food may have been consumed five or more days previously'. Completely unprofessional and really bad faith mostly for a big chain like this!!!!

My first order with a team member (a young man with a black fleece) was good. But my 2nd order with the lady whose name is Flora B was low service. She charged me a Raspberry Brownie, which I did not order. It was fine when the man (who took my 1st order offered me to take another item instead as they did not have any Raspberry Brownies). I refused to get a refund because my train is coming.I think that is one of the common things that happens in a coffee shop. But, when I settled on my train and had time to check my receipt as well as eat what I bought, I realized that she charged me for a large paper bag when she gave me a small bag. More than that, she put my porridge upside down in the bag. That?s the reason why this review is on.I totally understand the job because I am working on this job. But please, not this way.

A big thank you to Nacira who made myself feel extremely at ease and comfortable when asking about my food allergy despite their being a big queue. She took the time to go through the allergen booklet with me, as well going to get a clean pair of tongs to serve me. It makes such a difference.

Frustratingly slow, staff literally could not give a monkeys to make any effort towards moving faster than a slug. In a ten minute wait, one staff member put one load in a dishwasher then stood and watched her colleagues make coffees. Nobody was serving or acknowledging customer presence. Then a dog stood barking constantly with the owner seemingly oblivious that this might affect the world outside of his bubble.I walked out without making a purchase.

Extremely warm service staff despite long queues during peak hour at the Waverley station. There was an issue with my credit card + their machine and the staff member (unfortunately didn't get his name) was extremely helpful and even eased out all payment processes.

Absolute shock at waverly waiting in the queue for a sandwhcih and asked to move out the way for someone with 3 black bags of rubbish, not even nicely just "move.!".then they took all the 3 black rotten bags through the front where customers have to eat their food and the rubbish was absolutely stinking to a point I had to bin my meal when I left. Spoke to the lady on staff and was told that's how they always do it as there's no other way to take the bins out.Cannot belive any place that deals with "fresh" food think its acceptable to be emptying rubbish bags in front of customers who are eating or waiting to purchase food!I won't be back as clearly have no idea about hygiene standards at all.

Absolutely atrocious. £6 for a halloumi wrap. Burnt dried out gunky mess. Didn?t realise until I got on the train. Sticking to the packaging. Awful. It went in the bin. Obviously been sitting there too long. Bad food management.Vegetarian options: Awful

Service is always great. The staff are constantly busy but are always friendly. The food is full of ultra processed ingredients but you understand what you buy when you buy from a chain.Coffee is normally good too, I'd say out of all the coffee chains Pret is consistently good. However, the coffee I ordered this morning was awful. The reason for this is the person made my coffee super fast, which means there was leftover espresso and leftover oat milk that they used instead of making it fresh. This is disappointing because I can taste the difference. It's not good practice unless there's a person immediately after that. So please feedback this to staff as I want to go back to Pret when I'm travelling.

You increased for a third time the salary of your staff which is great but also increased the price of your sandwiches a third time? most of sandwiches over 5 pounds is that decent ?maybe use the profit of your company to increase the salary of your staff instead of putting it on the customers ?By the way staff is always very friendly at Waverley station.

Went in to get coffee at 06:30am after getting off the train and whilst waiting on my drink, two rats ran out from under the counter and then proceeded to run around the shop floor.

Came here and ordered my usual, oat milk latte with cream. They refused and were quite rude. They cited allergy concerns, but this is something that I order at other locations all the time without issue. Upon further discussion, the concern is not with cross contamination of preparation materials(the cream canister doesn?t touch the drink itself) but because the customer THEMSELVES might be allergic. They cited company policy, but when asked to see the policy, they changed their answer to it being a ?rule of thumb?I?m aware that the cream has dairy. They told me it was to remove the doubt, but if you confirm with the customer then doubt is removed either way. It?s equally as likely for me to be allergic to a full dairy latte or a full alternative milk latte, yet concerns about my possible allergies only come up when I ask for the two to mixed together. Again, because I repeat, not because of cross contamination of preparation materials but because THE CUSTOMER could be allergic. I?m an adult. I?m aware the dairy has cream. The fact that they insist that they can?t despite this rule being listed no where and I am able to buy it at other locations makes no sense. I feel infantilized and talked down to, like I am not able to make my own dietary decisions. All for a made-up rule that I can?t find anywhere on the company website or any other literature. If the company is worried about possible allergic reactions, simply confirming with the customer that it is indeed dairy cream should eliminate that concern. There is no need to insist that the customer cannot know their own dietary needs. And on that same vein, it is equally as likely for me to have a possible reaction to a full dairy or full alternative latte. Just because I ask for the two to be mixed together while making it fully known that I am aware of the contents does not increase that risk. If they are so concerned, then they should just close up shop and stop serving food and drink altogether. All in all I enjoy Pret, but the baristas here in Edinburgh are trash.

Popped in for a sandwich on my way to the train. Bought the Christmas baguette. Worst baguette I have tasted and nothing Christmassy about it. To top it all, the staff member was exceptionally rude and had no manners. Not a great experience.
