Horrible expirence with this branch I had to sent a package to Sweden, it was a birthday present for a friend, and they wrote the adress wrong on the package. I gave them the right adress and they didn't even bother to write the full name of the place so instead of "Gyllenkrooksgatan" the woman (who was not very nice to begin with) wrote "Gyllen" and they used the flat number as the postcode so hugely disapointed and it cost me quite the bit of money for the pacel. I would not recommend at all.

Not very helpful, potentially sketchy place. My license got stolen while sending it to the DVLA. I had asked the post office clerk for help with posting my license and I put the license into the envelope in front of him and made sure it was sealed tight before handing it over. He initially tried to convince me that I need to pay for express guaranteed delivery or that it could get lost. I felt that I was being convinced/scammed in spending more than I needed to so I went with first class delivery and pre-paid for an express return envelope which came up to £8 anyways for a letter!! Somehow the letter itself arrived at the DVLA office but my license was not present in the letter. I Went back to speak to the clerk who pretended he didn?t remember me / our interaction, and didn?t bother to help much. Strange situation, not trusting them again.

Even after I moved out of Tollcross to haymarket, I still use this post office. Staff are friendly and give great advice. The printing facility is very useful too. One of the best in Edinburgh.

Rude staff and very slow service. I was the only one in the queue. Two members of staff were present: one of them was counting money and did not acknowledge me and the other one was chatting with a postman. I thought the one counting the money would be done quickly and serve me or that the one chatting would terminate his conversation, but no... they carried on and ignored me. I finally asked: "Could one of you please serve me?!" The one counting the money asked his colleague to deal with me, none of them apologised save for the postie who said he was too chatty. I won't be going back. It's not the first time I have had bad customer service at that branch but it will be the last!

Bad and uncaring customer service. Royal Mail confirmed they delivered my parcel to this post office. Been here twice to ask for it, clerk kept saying they don?t have it. Didn?t offer any further information on what I could do to track it down, just stared at me to suggest it?s my cue to leave. Suspicious a parcel can just disappear between outside the shop where it was scanned and inside. If I chose another delivery place, I probably would have my package and saved myself many phone calls and visits in vain. Never again, avoid if you can.

Because these people put the wrong postcode into the system I lost a parcel and am unable to claim for it. According to Royal Mail it?s the customer?s responsibility to make sure the post office do their job properly ????

All my parcel experience with this branch is horrible. Some parcels with QR code generated by big online shopping companies which would normally work in any branch of post office, for some reason it will always get send back to my own address. For some parcels, when the staff scan it, they would tell me that i have to go to the depot office in morningside to mail it instead of here. I brought it to Forrest road post office and the staff took it and said ?nah, a normal post office could delivery ur parcel, not sure why tollcross would say that?Like what is going on? Im just gonna go to forrest rd post office cuz its so much better

Post master was understanding and kindly explained everything in detail to me for my unsuccessful delivery. Really appreciated his effort to help me despite dpd putting the wrong name down for my parcel.

After reading the reviews here I expected to have an awful time but everything went well. The queue was easy to understand and the staff polite. The wait for the queue was quite long so I recommend coming early.
