Five Stars for Juan! A Lifesaver at Halfords!I rolled into Edinburgh Hermiston Gate completely frustrated. My bike, my main mode of transportation, had suddenly decided to quit on me, and I didn't have an appointment. However, Juan, one of the mechanics there, was an absolute lifesaver.Even though I hadn't booked beforehand, Juan took the time to listen to my problem and diagnose the issue. He explained everything clearly and concisely, making sure I understood what was wrong and how he planned to fix it.What impressed me most was Juan's professionalism and efficiency. He worked quickly and diligently, getting my bike back in tip-top shape in no time.Thanks to Juan's expertise and willingness to help, I was back on the road in no time. I can't recommend him and the team at Edinburgh Hermiston Gate highly enough. If you're looking for honest, reliable, and efficient bike service, this is the place to go!

5 stars although experience on phone (fast talking strange accent couldn't understand) and on line chat was a joke (every question I asked got a "don't understand the question" response including "Can I please speak to a human?"). Service in the Hermiston Gait shop was excellent hence 5 stars. The moral of the story is to go to the shop.

I appreciated being offered to be served early as I arrived quicker than planned, Coreyvwas very knowledgeable, advised me on the layout of the bike and showed me some features, I told him about my impel 3 that?s needing fixed he offered to look at it so I?ve booked it in for next week, thanks to the guys in hermiston gaits Halfords.

Ordered a car stereo and fitting assessment. Was contacted to inform they couldnt complete the assessment / install for at least two months. Asked for refund and they confirmed this would be processed. A week later and it has still not been processed, follow up call to store they promised again, still not done. Central customer service refuse to process aging it is only the store that can refund. Disgraceful service and in the meantime they keep my £300+.

The 7 year old battery in my z4 finally gave up.. looking online there are many similar best of claims, I was initially suspicious that the Halfords advert was sponsored but the large number of reviews swayed my choice. It is easy to get confused with specification names and numbers but I was reassured by the Halfords fitter checking my cars model and the exact battery type recommended by BMW. He had all the special tools needed to get the battery out and talked me through what was going on, a simple job you would think but I couldn?t have done it. Halfords Hermiston gate gats a thumbs up.

Before you let your kids try out a bike from display stands, make sure you ask Christopher from Bike Desk!My 12 yr old autistic son was excited when he saw BMXs. As store was empty I said he could pick one and try it out. Unfortunately not long on it, staff member (Christopher) shouted down the aisle (where I was with him) to him to take it back. I asked him why as I thought bikes could be tried and tested . His response was ?it can only be in front of desk and I would have appreciated him asking me!?Very rudely and smugly turned his back on me and didn?t let me explain that he wouldn?t have asked for permission as he couldn?t! I would have appreciated it if he approached me and explained bikes can only be used in a certain part of bike area rather than shout at him down the aisle and get him all confused.Will be buying bike elsewhere.

Cole in the bicycle dept went above and beyond fixing my multi punctured bicycle tyres. Knowledgeable and friendly. Give the lad a raise. Fantastic work.

Standard mid size Halfords, therefore limited ranges. But they had equivalent of some items we were looking for, as well as the specific "must have" items. So we were happy with that.Setting it aside from other Halfords was the bearded guy at the back of the store on the parts desk. Wish I'd got his name. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. Also redirected other customers as he searched for the info we wanted, without impact to us. Made it look easy, kept smiling, saved us a whole lot of Google searching. Worth 5 stars just for him.

Guy walked away as I got to the desk.I waited 5 minutes on him coming back.he came back ,ignored me,asked an older couple if they were ok then walked out leaving me standing like an idiot.1 guy serving at the till said someone should be there soon,but I was already annoyed by then so I went to decathlon just up from them,who were more than happy to help with my issue.great service there very poor at Halfords.definitely won?t be going there again or recommending them
