“Excellent, the pharmacist was brilliant, took the time to look at and advise on a lump on my elbow that I had just noticed and was very worried about, and couldn't get in to see a doctor about it all week. I had spoken to my local pharmacist, who completely freaked me out, enough to consider a&e. I sought a second opinion from the pharmacist at boots, and thank goodness I did. I am now happy to wait to try to see a gp after the weekend. Edinburgh boots????????????”

“TK Maxx on South Saint David's Street just on the East end of Princes Street Edinburgh is massive, I went in here this morning doing some shopping therapy ?.What I like about this store ,first of the staff are helpful and actually show you if asked where certain stuff is located .The store itself is spacious and well laid out with tags from S,M,L,XL, so that it's easy to locate your size.A bonus for older people is the escalators which get you up and down the store without a struggle.Great store ,great staff and also a pick up point if you order online. ?”

“Nice findings here, children section is great.Shoes quite ugly selection, I have not manage to find yet a nice ones.Dresses and blouses good selection.Food section sometimes you can find good stuff.Tidy shop and clean.There don't have customer toilets sadly.”

“Good shop. Nice clothes for all the family. Prices for clothing and shoes are reasonable as quality is normally good. Didn't have girls coats when I was in. Some for boys though.Some of the furniture I feel is overpriced for the quality. A lot of it is fake wood. Some looks a good fake and worth a bit more, but a lot just looks cheap to me.”

“Harvey Nichols or Harvey Nicks as it is often referred to, is a large department store, just outside St James Quarter in Edinburgh city centre, a large department store in a grand building, this is a nice place to shop if you're looking for something a little more premium with a selection from food to fragrance.The store feels high-end so is fancy and well laid out, and the staff are friendly, with many creams and products on hand to test out before purchase.The store closes at 6 pm between Sunday and Wednesday, opening an hour later between Thursday and Saturday, regardless I feel this is far too early for a large department store in a big city, the shopping hours are not well catered to workers, and those who prefer to head out in the afternoons. There are places to sit and take a break while shopping in the store, which I appreciate, and the vibes inside the store are very nice, overall, with some nice products, so it is well worth a look in if you have time while shopping in Edinburgh.The store has five floors, including a Brasserie and Bar on the Fourth Floor, with impressive views of the city, including the Old Town.4*”

“My final full-day in Scotland, Friday 19 July 2019, as part of my heritage travel trip to Scotland in July 2019, I came to TK Maxx looking for a small piece of luggage I could use for transporting the gifts I bought back to the West coast of the United States of America. Since the bag I brought with me was a large back-packing style backpack, I wanted a small suitcase I could roll. Ideally, with a hard case since I had bought some items I was concerned about breaking during travel.I found a small, shiny metallic red suitcase with a hard exterior. The handle to roll the luggage was adequately long and it had multiple handles on the exterior, making it easy to carry in case the ground was rough. The price was excellent (about $60) and I purchased the bag. I had opted to come looking for a bag on foot and my hotel was about a mile and a half away, so this meant I got to put the bag in action to make sure it rolled fine before going to the airport the following day. By the time I reached my hotel I was very pleased with my purchase.Now, a little under four years later as of writing this review on Monday 5 June 2023, the bag has a few scuff marks from its travel in airplanes and vehicles, but has held up well. It continues to do a good job protecting some of the more fragile items I store inside of it.”

“Like all Next stores, well laid out with defined areas for products. Racks were full of product, again as expected. Slightly disappointed that there isn't more in the age12-14 sizes. But staff were quick to point out their on-line availability and we were okay with that. Basically still a market leader for physical shopping experience.”

“This is my local shop and it's your typical everyday corner shop. You can buy food and drinks and random supplies if caught short. You can buy booze. You can send and receive parcels and top up various cards. They have a hot food counter with a big selection and some daily fresh cakes. As ever the shop can be half or totally empty at random times but that's what makes it exciting. Also the staff here are always top notch and friendly.”

“This store opens 24 hours between Tuesday to Friday. Located in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. 4 Self Checkouts and 4 staff checkouts. Bakery section is quite great. Generally store keeps their shelves full. Small and convenient store. Only 1 member available during night. Have small single ice cream freezer. 2 coffee machines. Sells flowers, green veg, fruits, milk, ready meals, fizzy drinks etc.Does not sell Alcohol, Tobacco and Lottery.CCTV in operation.This store is on ground floor and accessible by all including disabled and wheelchair users.”

While at till she pointed out that I had the wrong trousers for my son, Karen then went and tried to find the correct size etc unfortunately she couldn't find any but offered to order them online.
