Shoking,some people don't have photo id,I tried to cell my phone that I never used,and was refused sale,I bought it 1 week before in same store,you don't ask for id when selling your stuff!!!

Not the biggest branch, and although the location is central, it isn't ideal along the back street. The staff were very nice and professional, though. Worth a visit

Somewhat small, and beginning to look a little thin in certain sections (particularly games), it's still a fun place to dig around for things. I had a fun idea to buy the worst possible movie I could find to put something nice in the DVD case as a gift, and BOY did I find it. A 2022 Bruce Willis joint called "Detective Knight" doubtful I'd find such 'gems' elsewhere. But as mentioned the gaming section is beginning to thin out and barely cover the shelves in some cases.I will confess to finding the staff a little stand-offish in CeX establishments. I don't imagine it's an easy job, especially with some folks coming in trying to fob off questionable merch, but I often find them somewhat gathered in groups, which is not very inviting to the average customer.

A good place to go buy things a way cheaper price. Although you may go for something specific and they may not have it but as for quality it's first class. Never have been disappointed when being there. Staff are very friendly, helpful and very polite.

Absolutely shocking customer service and staff look like their souls have been ripped out of their body. Have they heard of a smile before? Probably not, what about empathy? Nope. What you will get a robot giving you a statement. CEX needs to train these people to act like humans as I'm pretty sure they are making a lot of money from the crazy profits they make. I would rather sell my product under priced than to these useless so called people working at this branch.

not a good shop at all not able test trade ins there and then like a professional shop got my 17 year old leave without telling him classed as abandoned after 14 days gave him normal price for games then sold them as mint (manager) several games got no payment at all and never came back this is a very dishonest shop watch everything if u go here..... rose street Edinburgh

Fast and easy process selling my old tech and got the price expected too. Happy customer highly advise this store. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

We visited this store in search of a specific DVD set, as we couldn't find it at the CeX store in Inverness. I browsed for the product but couldn't locate it. However, I did come across a few PS4 and PS2 games at reasonable prices and another series I wanted to purchase. I decided to inquire about the availability of the sought-after series. At the counter, I inquired with a bearded gentleman about the product. He did not seem very inclined towards customer service but eventually checked on his computer and informed me that they didn't have the item. I was inquiring about another item when the salesperson retorted, "Go stand in that line if you have questions," pointing to the cashier queue. The salesperson continued rummaging behind the counter, thus concluding the customer service interaction.Only a minute later, apparently, a friend or acquaintance of this salesperson entered the store, and at that moment, the salesperson unexpectedly found time for chit-chat and other socializing.My wife and I observed the situation and decided not to purchase the items, leaving them on the shelf.Pros:Interesting titles and even some rare findsCons:Lack of appreciation for customers

Great place to bring your old tech games and blue Ray's. Staff were helpful. Saved, trying to manage selling everything myself. Reasonable prices for a 3rd party sale. Top tip: Take a utility bill or current bank statement on your first visit if you're trading in.
