Despite being a chain, this cafe nero (which is nearby my flat) offers solid prompt service, attentive and friendly staff, and decent food (though it is not freshly made). The variety of many different coffees that change from season to season is the cherry on top and makes me want to come back again and again.

Furniture has certainly reached the end of life, they should be replaced surely. Doesn't help with setting a nice vibe for the customer.

This a lovely cafe in the centre of Morningside has a very nice chilled vibe where a lot of locals go for a chat and catch up . No hassle no one chasing you out . Nice selection of sweet treats and savoury bites. Two lovely regular staff who remember your preferences occasionally like a lot of venues they are short staffed so at such times a little patience may be required .The venue itself is a little tired but it's homely unpretentious if you need your table cleared they always oblige with a smile and the drinks are Great .

The bathroom was filthy..not just from todays use but clearly hadnt seen a proper clean in some time...wont go back.

I have visited this place on two separate occasions, mainly due to it's location near Waitrose. I think is one of the most dirty and depressing Caffe Neros I have ever been in and it certainly does nothing for the brand image and name. The lack of hygiene here is very poor, tables are filthy and the state of the toilet... seen better portaloos.Don't get me started with the staff, as they are in need of some serious customer service/diversity training I've never met a bunch of unhappy miserable staff.I'm glad I was only passing through the area, as this would most definitely NOT be my preferred cafe.

The Coffee was subpar at best. My large coffee was only half filled. It does not taste how it?s supposed to and when I commented, was told to just put sugar in it. One of the barista clearly doesn?t know what she was doing. They use to be good but I think I?ll stop going here anymore (use to be a daily coffee spot for me).

Apparently, staff are now allowed to not wear face masks.. Indoors in Scotland.Apparently they don't care that there closing time today is 18h, they closed the toilet and the refrigerator
