Used the store before, went again, and the staff attitude is wrong, some of the staff either students that dont care about customer service, as felt we were asking them to do their job, and some on mobile phones, and not work phones.

A huge thanks to the all the helpful staff who helped me with a problem I had been struggling with. Lights department went above and beyond to accommodate me especially the lady who personally helped and solved my problem. Thank you great customer service.

Click and collect order. Fast efficient and friendly service. Bought a bonsai tree as a gift and was as described. Good quality.

Great B&Q, large store which usually has what we're looking for. Good selection of DIY products plus outdoor plants. Wish they had more outdoor furniture to look at, not just a couple of overpriced sheds they usually have

Spacious store which is easy to navigate. Plenty of parking outside store. Self serve tills were closed. Price of wallpaper is very expensive.

Avoid ordering a kitchenPlaced an order a few weeks ago for my daughter all went great at this point advised of a delivery date paid for all goods and awaiting delivery then the sun beginsDelivered as per date stated , however once kitchen fitter arrived I got a call to say two out of threeworktops weee damagedAnd also the oven was missingCalled the East Kilbride store to advise about the worktops and was told to call Darnley store ,so called store and advised of the situation and also explained that there was a time limit to get the kitchen installed due to a Disablity issue within the homeI received a call back saying next available delivery date was three days away ( no use )so I called a freind and he collected for me to get the kitchen pushed onAt this point all seems to all good with all units etc and fitter cracking onI had ordered additional tall finished end panels and a door to complete the boxing in of the existing boiler , so when going to build the tall housing unit I was discovered that two of these panels were a darker colour from the other panels and doors , so yip back on ovine yet again and was told couldn?t give a time for delivery as the come from a seperate supplier( again I raised the issue of the importance that due to the situation within the household this had to be completed asap )so got to speak to a manager and I received a call back to say they would be delivered by courier today( still waiting and it?s 2.30 pm ( another day wasted and another day I have to pay a kitchen fitter to come back )My daughter returns last night and said I?m sure that?s not the colour of the doors I choose when ordering so I called East Kilbride store again today and spoke with a woman and she confirmed it was the darker (slate grey that was on the system for order ( now I worked out why the above tall end panels were slate grey nit light grey as the rest of the kitchenI called today just after 12 and was told a manger called Joseph would call me back still waiting so I called again (he?s is in lunch )great customer service still waitingMy daughter can?t have the issue with all getting changed to the colour she originally had chosen so she will have to live with this wrong coloured doors etc etcAs for the oven she has order another one but yet again no call re payment that was made for the original oneSo it?s now been two additional days I have to pay a fitter due to no fault of my own , and a kitchen that is now the wrong colour from which was chosenI am awaiting a reply from b and q East Kilbride and I will be asking for compensation regarding this nightmareI have had a trade account for years with b and q and I can assure I will never use them againOne very dissatisfied customer ( oh it?s now 3pm and still no courier delivery re missing parts or that call from managementJim

Staff are decent enough but the timber cutting facilities are always out of action. As a trade this makes life an absolute misery.Machine is either broken down or they haven?t put staff on that are trained in using it meaning that 6/10 times I go I end up having to abandon materials I?ve picked out and drive to Darnley or parkhead!

What can I say? It's B and Q... generally speaking, its the one stop shop for most light building, DIY and gardening resources, with a wide range of tools, ancillaries etc for most trades and DIY projects. Prices vary, as does value for money, depending on what you're buying: they can be competitive for some things, but pricey for others... Opening hours are great, staff are friendly and fairly on the ball and happy to help...

Shopping for paint today.Lynn at the paint counter was fantastic and so friendly.Whilst waiting on paint being mixed I tried to download the club card that would have given me a £5 voucher off my £72 spend on paint.Phone was running slow. Lynn used her radio headset and spoke to someone at front desk and asked if they would honour the £5 voucher as the club card would not download. At the front desk we were treated appallingly, no one knew anything but someone said they heard it!!Did not get the £5 voucher off it was not honoured as I was told to download it!!Well done B&Q, Lynn at the paint counter earned you the 2 stars your front desk staff need to communicate!

Customer service hadn't a clue, giving out numbers that don't exist. Then giving you a number for the company you want but it takes you back to the b N q number that then says b N q don't accept calls. Absolute waste of time

WOW, ive used a screwdriver and a claw hammer to try and open this tin of pain WTAF...i know B&Q got slated online for the paint spills from thier paint in store mixing...but FM. the see saw has gone too far.I've a Trade Point card an tbh, it's only useful for large DIY projects. The majority of my domestic home and garden purchases, I still do price comparisons against proper trade outlets. But the Trade Point B&Q card is still useful as long as you keep your spending up to qualify for the discount, but often, B&Q runs non trade promotions that offer 20% discounts over holidays and seasonal deals.Just today, I got a 3 for two deals on fencing staining that the Trade Point card did not match due to low purchases the previous month.I did a smallish fencing job that was priced at nearly £800 for materials with Trade Point, but I got the materials from a wood merchant in motherwell for £584 ?.Shop around and compare, tbh B&Q really is a DIY outlet, but the Speedy Hire partnership is Mint for everything from nail guns to mini diggers.
