Bought a 65 watt Universal Charger, "Universal" but it didn't have a type C adaptor. The box was heavily taped on both sides and the top of the box is packed in so tight the rear of the box rips a little. I took the charger back with receipt to exchange it. I was told, can't re sell that so you can't return it, in a very unfriendly manner. The lady then said "You should have checked it before leaving the shop". Who on earth stands in a shop to open a "Universal Charger" to confirm that it is intact Universal? I then said the box was taped at both ends and I needed the charger quickly and in a location where I had no knife to hand. Anyway, fast forward to buying the correct one with a now wasted £50. I came home opened it (same box as previous one) with a knife and opened the top as gently as possible, guess what? It ripped in exactly the same place as the first box. The staff where rude and obnoxious, almost thriving in an opportunity for some kind of conflict. Terrible customer service and no need to be rude just for the sake of being rude ?. This kind of nonsense is starting to become the normal, where people just can't be nice / kind to other people, never mind someone spending £50 / £60 in their shop and hundreds / possibly thousands over the course of the year through my business. Not that they will cry about it, but that's the last I will buy from them, if that's the kind of people they choose to hire and provide "Customer Journey". Very poor experience indeed ?

Went into Argos tonight Friday 26th January 2024 looking for the EE shop it?s only been away two years ???? just want to thank ?TONY? who works at Argos who took the time to look up a number for me and helped me immensely, what a helpful young man, who went out his way to assist me , A fantastic asset to the dumbarton store, which I have shopped at for many a year, and never had a problem, all staff are brilliant. Thanks again Tony you were correct ? the problem was fixed over the phone ?

Booked and paid online received Ref and Pin went to shop didn't even have to go in scanned code brought item to door social distanced the lot brilliant one thin they tell you to book slot I did ... wasn't required

I went into Argos today and phone would only stay in selfie mode and I took it out to get it fixed and was told they wouldn't replace it or fix it because it had a crack on the screen and it was under six months old and the customer service was bad because they argue with you.
