Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Had 2 rooms for my family. 1 room smelled like body odour and the other like cigarette smoke. 1 room han a major dip in the bed and the other had loads of issues with the bathroom. The toilet and sink tap made a horrible noise when used and the tub would fill up quickly when the shower was turned on. There was also hair everywhere. To top it off there was no hot water our second night there. The bed looked like it was made up by a toddler. The trains went by and shook the building, not great when you are trying to sleep. Costumer service was terrible as when I told the manager about the issues its as if she didnt care. No apology was given and nothing was done. Definitely would not recommend, spend the extra and stay somewhere else.

NO HOT WATER: The boiler was switched off on Sundays, resulting in icy cold showers. When inquired about the issue, the staff provided a dubious excuse, lying about a technician having to travel all the way to Edinburgh for parts, claiming it would take a staggering 6 hours round trip. Despite assurances of a fix by 10 PM, the water remained barely warm, far from satisfactory. Such inconvenience on a weekend stay is unacceptable. I strongly advise against booking here on weekends, or any day for that matter. Look elsewhere for reliable and comfortable accommodations. 10.03.2024 Aberdeen Central Stay

Rooms: Sorry to say we had a bit of an issue. The first room was fine till we came in 11pm and found water in room and bathroom from the roof. Whent to desk man came to look. Got another room next door ,10 min later water came through roof again onto bed. Back to desk . Got another room no problem. Can't fault staff and rooms are very clean. It just made a very bad end to a wonderful time away with my daughter, and a sorry for your inconvenience at the end of it would have been nice.

This is value for money. It's located in the city centre, close to every essential service. The room is quite comfortable, the receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

Very dated. The rooms were quite worn out. The TV barely worked and seemed to struggle with most of the more useful channels. On our stay it was noisy as hell outside until 03:30am. If you are a light sleeper this could be a problem. The place is also a maze, so probably best to take breadcrumbs with you.Rooms: Worn out with peeling flooring and open rusty screws in the bathroom. Brilliant shower, but no effective way of stopping from flooding the shower bath with overflow from the shower. Two power sockets (three if you disconnect the kettle). But no power or USB by the bed at all. We had a big living space in the room!

A great location from the central train station and the city centre, shops and so on...The staff at both reception and the breakfast were prompt and friendly.The room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and overlooked the roof of the Mall.Highly recommended if you're looking for a central location at a good price!Rooms: Spacious and spotless clean.Nearby activities: Walking distance to central train and bus station.Very close to museums, Unison park, shopping mall, restaurants and much more!

One of the staff body slammed me into the canteen floor after I asked for mayonnaise on my roll instead of butter. There was a gorilla in the shower, trees growing in the sink and there was raccoons under my bed, left me feeling rather uncomfortable. However there was a twix in the mini fridge, so 5 stars. ?

Great staff at reception, had to request extra night, was no problem. Nice big room, very good shower.Walkability: Just round from bus and train station. The Union Square centre is only a 4 minute walk away.

Great location, clean and big rooms, staff members very polite and helpful, good breakfasts, we always go there and we were never disappointed so far.UPDATE 5 years later...We've been visiting the same place for years and I must say we've been very disappointed recently. It used to be good for the price and great location but not any more.We got upset tummies after having their breakfast, which ruined our start of holidays.The bathrooms are horrible. Toilets and baths get clogged easily, and when taking a shower, I had water up above my ankles. Not very hygienic. The sinks are wobbly, I was scared to touch them. Water taps are very dodgy and hard to use in some rooms. Hand wash and body wash are diluted with water.Floors are not very clean, killed 3 spiders during 2 night stay.Looks like the owner doesn't invest any money to keep the rooms in the same standard, which is a shame.

There was no hot water for a shower.the tv did not have good reception I was not impressed that my son was approached by a lady of the night trying to get business.we have been to other cities in the uk never has this ever happened we are shocked and disgusted.

Check in was very efficient and straight forward. The room was very clean and everything that was needed was there. The location is also perfect as it was a very short walk to all central locations. All in would recommend.
