I?ve been told that I?m not going to be served because it?s 2 minutes after closure despite I was waiting in the queue for 10 minutes

Wors customer service ever from gentlman with black hair and black glasses, very rude with very poor customer service. Was waiting to scan my IQ code as self checking do not accept IQ code sadly. After 32 min. of my waiting time from top of the stairs came gentlman jumped 19 people, which was waiting in the cue straith away to shelter. Lady on the front of me, she couldn't believe. Myself either. After few min. decided to come nicely to the shelter and explain to worker ( boy with black hair and glasses...) there is cue and this gentlman just jumped on the front of all this people.Boy with the glasses become angry, instead of tell to the gentlman to go to cue and wait, shout i should be not there and wait in the cue and not jumping on the front of the cue. I asked nicely, what about this gentlman here. As he jumped actually 19 people ....Workers just ignore that and shout again "go back to the cue" I am sorry, I work in customer service 23 years but this reaction just got me. "Best" was his customer service after.... poor, arogant boy what doesn't have any idea, what customer service mean.

I went in to post a letter, came down the stairs to write the address on, then when I stood in line to post it, a physically disabled young male member of staff offered to help. Great, I thought. He then started trying to interrogate me if I took the envelope off the shelf and didn't pay for it, lol. Total weirdo. I informed him that I literally just came down the stairs and didn't even see a shelf with any envelopes in the corner.I hate to think what would happen if I brought in a parcel. He'd probably put me in an orange jumpsuit and interrogate me Guantanamo Bay style.

Service at the post office is quick and the staff were very efficient. Upon standing in the queue, was quickly greeted by a gentleman who enquired about the service I wanted and asked me to wait until the next available counter. The staff at counter were polite, helpful, and more importantly knowledgeable about the tasks which they were carrying out. The room was spacious and stocked with all essentials. The office is conveniently located inside the building opposite to Bon Accord. Look for WH Smith and take the stairs down once you are inside the shop. I am shocked to see so many negative reviews for the office. Don?t trust the negative reviews. Also it helps if people use the less busy hours.

I think the requirement to work here is that you must be the most inefficient and slow person ever. It pains me to watch the staff (usually 1 or 2 even during peak times) move so slowly. They don?t have any signs or postings hiring new people, so it would seem that they are content with the service they are putting out which is just sad.There are thousands of people looking for jobs, why not hire more?They have 4/5 kiosk available, and only 1 in use. So they have the equipment to have more staff but choose not to.In addition even if you use the self service machines, you still need a member of staff to check your items and take them to the back room.It?s honestly astonishing how bad the service is.

To say that this is the worst post office in Aberdeen would be an understatement. I had a terrible experience today here. I was sending away 2 parcels and the queue was very long so I used the self service machines. I wasn?t aware that you could not pay for the packaging at these machines so it flashes red waiting for an assistant to come help.I was then stuck at the machine for about 20 minutes before the older lady came and seen me. She then told me about my problem and that I needed the size small parcel. i paid for the envelope up stairs and got the size small stamp at the machine. When I handed it to the same lady she then brought out her tape measure and told me these parcels are a medium and that I would have to pay extra and to join the end of the queue. At that point I had had enough and asked for my parcels back as I was leaving. I went straight to the post office in berry den and I was served by a nice lady. I told her my story and she measured my parcels and they were a size small. They still had the stamps on from the Bon accord post office so I didn?t have to pay extra. Avoid this post office at all cost you would be faster walking to the berry den post office and getting served than in here.

If you've got a spare 30 minutes to wait for an employee who would probably struggle to get a "Mac Job", then this is your place.Remember the customer is not always right!Also, that commenting on how long you've been waiting is not appreciated!

Every single time I?ve been there there?s been a huge queue and the last time I was in trying to post something, I waited 40 minutes in said queue. They only ever have one or two staff on max and it?s a joke

The queue, waiting time and the speed of the staff was about what I would expect at the post office on Saturday. No problems at all

I suppose that with an employer that for years was jailimg their employees for trying to do their job you might expect this level of defeated indifference but it doesn't make any more bearable the forty minute wait with just two positions openout of five being manned

Appalling!!!only two staff dealing with longest queue. Honestly not very efficient, those stations for supposedly self service and makes service faster are joke! So one staff have to get out of her way to deal with the 'self service' users and leave her post with people just coming in and queueing up. Worse! Avoid this PO at all cost.
