“We had our wedding at the Palm Court Hotel. From the start to end everything was all arranged and under control. The staff were extremely patient and very helpful with lots of great ideas and tips. The sanderson room was set up beautifully for the ceremony and the change around for the wedding meal was done quickly and beautifully. A few of us stayed the night in the hotel after the wedding and the rooms were great, clean , comfortable. The breakfast next day had lots of choices.”

“Was in Aberdeen for business and ended up flying in way too early. Would have had to wait 2 hours for even to get into my room (early check in) however the manager was so kind from the beginning and even offered me free breakfast whilst I waited and made sure to get a room as soon as. Facilities wise it’s the best I have seen so far and I have been to a couple Prem Inns. If I was to travel back to Aberdeen would defo stay here again and for the price it’s actually worth it in my opinion :)”

“Very very good hotel, from check in to the room, to the Executive lounge to breakfast, all very good quality and very reasonable price. Only slight disappointment is that the Exec Lounge has restricted hours but understand the reason.”

“Stayed here with colleagues for OE 2023 exhibition at P&J Live. It's an ideal location being a 5 minute walk and the staff are excellent and very attentive. The food we had in the restaurant was nice and well cooked. The bar was a great place to relax after a long day. The rooms, although getting dated were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern. Will stay here again next time I'm in town.Walkability: A great location if you are visiting the P&J Live”

“We had our customer appreciation event there during the Euro Oil Show and the staff were excellent, great service (odd for the UK) and the beer was always cold!! The food trays had an excellent assortment and a lot more than we expected!”

“What a lovely hotel. We stayed here a few years ago, the room was very nice and clean. The real reason I’m writing this review is to comment on the quality of food. The food was excellent then and when we ate last week, the food was absolutely fantastic. Would eat here all the time but we live 2hrs away. Highly recommend!”

“Very friendly service and very comfortable rooms. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel. In less than 10 minutes you can get to the airport by foot!”

“I would stay here again. Clean, comfortable, contemporary room. This is not a luxury hotel, but for the price and the great staff, I gave it five stars. The woman working when I checked in and all the staff are very professional and helpful. Eryk is super helpful. And I think they work very hard. Like so many places post Covid, they seem short staffed, and doing their very best. Great location and I had a wonderful city view of the sunrise over ocean & view of working harbor. The desk staff was great. I arrived two days late and without luggage, due to a canceled flight. They were knowledgeable about where to buy a set of clothes and additional toiletries.”

“The accommodation we were in was a small apartment rather than just a hotel room. We enjoyed having a separate living space and basic cooking facilities. The bathroom was small but big enough for the infamous shower beer fridge. As it's on Union Street, it can be a bit noisy.”

“The service from Carol and her sisters were above and beyond for me. From the second I walked in, I felt their warmth, friendliness and kindness with showing to the rooms, dining and even checking out.The friendliness and memories I made with my conversations with Carol and her sisters were unforgettable as they were truly one of the most friendly people I have experienced in a hotel. They were lovely and I am 100% positive they would provide that similar service to everyone else that books in. It’s a cozy, relatively new and upcoming hotel in the area which is lovely to stay in but it’s the service and friendliness that really gives it that 5 stars. They even dropped me off at the bus station to get my bus back to glasgow as taxi’s in Aberdeen weren’t being reliable. They were incredible and I will be visiting them again in the near future. Amazing, generous, kind and friendly people. I honestly mean this.Thank you so much Carol and Alan. I am wishing more success, positivity and love for your business. See you soon! ??”

“Quick check in. Dinner on the first night in restaurant good size portions. Tried to have a drink in the bar second night but we were informed we couldn't sit at tables as we hadn't booked. Sat in the foyer and at no time were all the tables full I really found this strange star off for that as felt let down that as a guest in the hotel you could not sit in the bar. Good selection for breakfast all well cooked.Rooms: Room was very clean with a super king bed two seater settee and a dining table and very quiet.”

“We had a wonderful family celebration for my husband’s 40th in the Granite Balcony. All of the ladies in the events team were extremely helpful in the planning stage and always promptly replied to any questions I had. The Granite Balcony itself is a stunning room to hold any private celebration. There was plenty of space to move around the table and the decor is just lovely. Kyle, our main waiter for the night was excellent as was all of the team. Friendly, service with a smile and very attentive. The meal was faultless, all of our family have commented on how good the food was. We stayed the night in a comfortable, quiet room and rounded off our celebrations with a lovely breakfast. Thank you to everyone at The Chester Hotel for helping to make my husband’s 40th birthday so special.”

“I booked a table for 9, including 3 kids. There were a few folk in the bar but the restaurant wasn't busy. We were welcomed and put at ease by the friendly staff. The food was very nice, portions ample, and served on proper plates not chopping boards or roof slates etc. One of our drinks arrived not as anticipated but the staff quickly sorted the issue with no fuss. Prices were as reasonable as I would expect in 2023, not cheap, but affordable considering the quality fare on offer. The man who I assume was the manager even popped in for a brief chat at the end of our meal. Parking was also fine. I would recommend this place for anyone, especially families, who are looking for good pub food that doesn't break the bank, served with a smile. They also specialise in pizzas, although we didn't sample them on this occasion......maybe next time....”

“I shouldn't really share this review as the Cults Hotel is best kept secret or it will get too busy ? I travel to Aberdenn regularly and the Cults Hotel is my Go To place. The reason for this is that the rooms are good value, the staff are amazing / friendly and the food NEVER disappoints. Although there is a host of starter, I have the soups every time as it the best and matches and of the most expensive hotels around. Thank you to all the staff.”

“Cleanest one i have been in so farLoved it being next to McD's less than a5 min walk to it.Also a 5 min walk to bus stop with a good selection going into town and not forgetting a wee conventient local store and a chinese takeaway .As for travelodge staff ,ever so friendly and there to help ,nothing was too much trouble .Only drawback is constant noise from road and airplanes with windows open. There is secondary windows to block out but personally i like to have air going through my room .Will definitely book again though .”

“We spent 2 days in Aberdeen. Hotel was fine. It was clean and ideal for our needs. We didn’t spend much time in the room. There was a kettle, tea coffee etc which you could top up when needed. There was spare supplies at reception. We opted to have breakfast which was great value for money. Nearby there was a Costa , Marks and Spencer food hall and a Home Bargains. You can catch the bus into Aberdeen city centre. We will definitely return. Lots of parking available.”

“Ideal location for staying when visiting Aberdeen, connected to Union Square shopping mall with bus and train station in close proximity. The hotel has 24 hour room service with food available from the Bowery dining and drinks menu. Our room on the 5th floor had a partial view of the sea with the beach Ferris wheel and harbour. Our room for this stay was a Superior Double Room with a comfortable double bed with plenty of space for sitting area at the floor to ceiling window. The breakfast for Two was included in the price, with plenty of selection to choose from. On this occasion the cooked items of food could have been better prepared, but overall a nice breakfast. Ideal hotel for city centre break in Aberdeen with travel facilities close by, restaurants and nightlife nearby also. If traveling by car there is the Union Square carpark available, but they are separate entities and no discount is given. Very reasonable price for city centre parking.”

“Business trip to Aberdeen and a meeting in nearby Dyce. Hotel needs some attention on outside but once in warm and welcoming. Room is a little dated but most importantly was clean. Would stay again as price was reasonable. No eating facilities on site”

“I was attending a work day time event. 8:45 til 16:00hrs. Staff polite and plentiful. Plenty of space and very clean. I have stayed there before when attending a murder mystery event. Beautiful rooms, great food and stunningly beautiful location.”

“I stayed here a few years ago and vowed never to return, but with a some Accor points to burn and not fancying the Ibis I stayed again last week, and it couldn't have been more different! Check in was quick and the receptionist was so friendly. She upgraded me to a deluxe room which was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely bed so comfy I lied down for a minute whilst waiting for the kettle to brew and fell asleep for the night! The bar was pleasant with excellent service. The location is very good- just away from the hubub of Union Street but in easy walk of all the shops, restaurant and nightlife and just a 10 minute walk to the train station. Based on my second experience, I'll certainly be back again and hope that this is the norm rather than my first visit!”
