Barry is a very professional, personable coach who cares deeply about his clients and their goals and results ? The gym is welcoming, unintimidating and the team and regular clients create a warm, friendly and witty community. My husband and I have very stressful, busy lives and we class this escape to our twice weekly PT sessions as therapy- as well as helping us maintain activity levels and some form of 'shape'. The latter being ruled by our habits and lifestyle and not for the lack of our coach's commitment ! The ultimate fitness retreat Barry runs- we went last year- it was truly amazing and not just for the body-beautifuls! We achieved more than we thought we ever could physically and it was so much fun. Thank you for the endorphins, for showing us new goals every session and for all the positive vibes ? ??

Barry is an enthusiastic and motivational PT who really makes you feel at ease when training. The gym itself is very welcoming and you can sense a positive atmosphere as soon as you walk in.The group PT sessions have been fantastic so far, allowing me to gain confidence and 1:1 advice, whilst in the comfort of others wishing to achieve the same goals. First time in years I come away from a fitness session buzzing for the next one. Couldn?t recommend Barry and the team enough!

This is an update to my review from a few years ago. This gym is still 5 star and I can highly recommend. Everyone is friendly, trainers and members alike, and the gym has a fantastic community spirit. From personal experience, if you are looking for some help to reach your fitness goals and you can commit some time, and a bit of effort, the BSPT team can help you with both training and nutrition.

Fantastic gym with very supportive and encouraging trainers. Worked with both Barry in classes and Chris with PT. Can?t fault the support they provide to help you achieve your goals. A great community of people and a good selection of classes. Highly recommend!

An amazing gym, Jen?s group PT and 1 to 1?s have changed me for the better. I?ve a better form whilst working out and she has given me the confidence to lift heavier than ever. The bootcamps are great fun and great cardio. Wouldn?t go anywhere else it?s just a great gym

I joined the gym in January and it is the most welcoming environment for training I have experienced. Barry and the team have created a really positive and motivating ethos. Some PT sessions from Michael have really helped me in focusing on what exercises will help me. I couldn't recommend this place more, great value!

This is the best gym and community in Aberdeen! Barry and the gang will help you attain the fitness level you dreamed about, and in the process you will gain great value: strength/health/fitness habits in an inclusive environment. I joined BSPT a year ago and would highly recommend to people of all abilities and experience. I had no previous weight training experience and was never motivated to do core exercises before joining this gym. Jen is a fantastic PT and very encouraging - she designed a bespoke programme which has built my confidence / abilities and has helped tackle old running injuries. The bootcamps/classes are also great - all the trainers are highly professional and it?s a very fun and friendly atmosphere all round.

I've been seeing Barry as a PT now for 4 years. His knowledge about strength and conditioning is amazing and his attention to detail is his biggest strength. The gym itself has top quality equipment and is immaculate - never in my life have I been in such a clean gym which is so well respected by both customers and staff. Everyone is welcoming, professional, knowledgeable and friendly - you cant go wrong!!

I have been training with Scott for just under 2 years and I have seen a huge improvement in my fitness. Scott has been really patient and accommodating with me and has helped me accomplish my goals. Everyone at bspt is really nice, the gym is well equipped and overall it?s a good atmosphere.

I have been a member for 3 years and its the best gym I have been to in Aberdeen. Everyone is very friendly and supportive. Trainers are ace especially Jen who I have been working with. I wouldrecomend Barry and his team.

I?ve been to a number of different gyms in Aberdeen and have never been as consistent as when I started PT with Jen over 1 year ago. Everyone is very friendly, you never feel judged and there is always a good buzz in the gym. Would recommend to anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere and great people around to help motivate and train you!

Fantastic gym! Great atmosphere where everyone (staff and members) make you feel so welcome and part of the BSPT community. This gym is very clean with lots of weights/equipment and the location is good. I've been having PT with Jen for a few years now and I highly recommend her. She is a top class PT who is very knowledgeable and motivates you to do your best at every session.

I have been a member of the gym for just over two years and fair to say the general atmosphere is first class. Everyone is very friendly and there is a real community spirit. There is an abundance of kit to use and the PT,s who work there are very competent and approachable.If you are looking to join a gym either as a beginner or someone who wants a change I would thoroughly recommend joining BSPT.
