In mid July my wife and I purchased a car wash package at the Tidal Wave car wash on Sandhills Blvd. We bought the package that provides for as many washes as the customer wants for a 30-day period. We did so because we had an oil leak and wanted Tidal Wave's undercarriage wash feature to clean the underside of our car, which might take more than one wash. We actually prefer using a self-service car wash, but we obviously can't clean the underside at this sort of facility. Upon viewing my credit card bill online recently I noticed the $53.49 charge from Tidal Wave on it. I looked up and called the listed customer service phone number of 706 938 0991 and spoke with "Laura," who apparently is located at Tidal Wave's corporate headquarters somewhere in the Southern United States. Laura canceled our account, but she said she could not refund the current charge, explaining that accounts must be canceled seven days in advance. I thanked Laura for canceling the account going forward, but told her that I was neither pleased nor satisfied with not getting a refund. We understood we were getting an introductory rate for this package. However, we were not told either orally by the attendant or through a provided document that we would automatically be billed the full amount, $53.49 at the end of the 30-day period. Nor was there any indication of this automatic renewal policy on any of the signage at the facility, at least none we or any reasonable person could see sitting in their car as they prepared to go through the car wash. The automatic renewal policy, as it is administered by Tidal Wave with no practical notice to customers, is not fair and allows them to get an additional rake-off that borders on a scam.

A bit overpriced but good wash on the car. Surprised a lot of stain ls on water car didn't come out until I washed them afterwards. Towels and cleaner a nice touch but since you're drying your own car it should be included I. The price. I did t think it was a great value but was convenient for me

Best tunnel wash in town...staff is friendly, brushes are always clean, vehicles are spotless every time, never had an issue with any service. We have three vehicles on their family plan and it's a great deal!

I've taken my car to Tidal wave 3-4 times and been completely satisfied until this last time. When I walked back from getting a towel to dry my car off I noticed how bad my hood and front of my roof looked. When I looked closer I noticed the thousands of super tiny and big scratches. I went and filed an incident report. Took me working after getting any contact with the site leader who then told me they looked at the video and didn't see where the "wraps" touched my car. Tidal wave has brushes that absolutely touch cars especially my lifted 4 runner. Plenty of videos from dash cams and you can see from watching on the outside it is not a touchless car wash. I've waited since 11/15 to head back from corporate and I've gotten nothing. No one of importance has laid eyes on my car period. It's clear I'll have to hire a lawyer as the scratches along the roof and hood is absolutely extensive and needs to be fixed.

The car wash itself is great. I would agree with others that there are functions within the wash that seem to fail periodically. Gents, can we speed things up at the prep line. Seems like there is always a 2 car gap between the car wash and the prep line. Cars are piled out to the road, and it takes 25 minutes to just get through the gate. Often I see supervisors just walking around. Probably need to hire a Chick-fil-A manager to get this drive-through fixed.

The equipment is always partially broken. My vehicle never gets clean. The cost of a good wash is $25.00! I have visited multiple times with the same outcome. The young people running the wash could care less. Don't waste your money.

Never really that busy, straightforward and to the point auto car wash with lots of options for add ons and also an unlimited membership. Staff is very attentive and was able to answer all my questions. I was told if you bring your receipt from a wash and want to get an unlimited monthly plan it's only $9.99 first month. Definitely my new go to car wash

This morning I had a perfect wash... they took the time to sponge the bugs off my grill and took the care to smile and say thank you as I went through. That is the difference with this wash over the others

I took my older car by there which had been sitting under a tree for over 6 months. Dirt was caked on. Chris took his time to spray the car down with a solution and go over the car with a brush 2 times before running it through the machine. It was amazing that he took the time to do that and my car came out AMAZINGLY clean. Fantastic place with great service will definitely be going back.

I'm pretty happy with this car wash. I pay monthly and can wash and vacuum whenever I feel like it. They could probably work on unclogging the vacuums more often but other than that I'm pretty happy with service.

This town needed a good car wash! There's wasn't one car wash around that had a free vacuum that you can do yourself until this place opened. I hadn't had my car legitimately cleaned in probably half a year, so it was filthy. I paid for the most expensive wash, $20. Obviously there were a few dead bugs missed on the front (typical for an automatic car wash), but they have a wash cloth and spray station that you can use to wipe off whatever is missed, which wasn't much. The vacuums are VERY powerful. I was able to get ALL traces of dog hair out of my car. They offer memberships for unlimited washing/vacuuming for $25/month and I may end up buying into that; I just want to see how long it takes before I need another wash first. BEST car wash in the southern pines/Aberdeen area, hands down.

Attendants are very helpful. You can sign up for unlimited wash club. The colors in the soap and lights are entertaining while you go through the cleaning process. I have been through here 6 times. Always have had a excellent wash. You have a detail area where you can wipe down your vehicle, clean the windows. They will supply your towels and spray. Covered area with lights at night. Give them a try.

I go at least once a week and the people are always so helpful and nice! The car wash washes my car amazing and it's so handy to have the vacuums right beside the wash, under the shelter! I will definitely continue going!
