I cannot recommend this place enough! My car started making a clattering sound this morning, I called up at 10:35 and by 1pm my car had been seen, diagnosed, fixed and ready to be picked up! I am so grateful to this fab company for squeezing me in and doing such a great job in a very short space of time! All the guys were really lovely and super helpful! They have restored my faith in mechanics and I will 100% be back for all my car needs in the future! Thank you again for saving the day :)

Work was done quickly, prices were appropriate aside from being charged £72 for oil. Looking online you can easily find the same oil for £30-60, seems a bit expensive in comparison especially when you pay for the service on top of thisService: Oil change

Avoid this garage! They are unprofessional, unfriendly, and a complete rip off! Took my car here to get looked at because of some issues (first time going here as it was my first ever car). They found the issues but gave a really expensive price estimate. (I had researched lots and got multiple quotes for the parts and labour needed to fix the issues, so I knew the approx cost for it all). After feeling unhappy with their attempt to rip me off and before any work was started, I decided to take it to another garage who were so much friendlier and helpful. The new garage gave me an estimate which was over £200 cheaper!When I picked the car up and took it to the other garage, my new mechanic found that they had intentionally put the gasket on the wrong way to make things harder to take off! I knew they had intentionally done this because they looked at the gasket and found there were issues with it. Very unprofessional and petty. So glad that I went elsewhere.Response to OwnerOn the 24th march we took our car (black Volkswagen golf) to your garage because there was smoke coming from the engine, advised a potential flaw with the turbo by AA. Upon investigation by your garage it was determined to be an issue wit the gasket and heat shield. A number of other issues were also identified.We received a quote by your garage on the 29th by Rob Smith. We discussed where your garage purchased the parts from, time of labour, investigated the information provided ourselves and discussed with a different mechanic and found you were charging us about £200 more then a different mechanic.Based on the largely inflated quote provided we decided to go with someone else, but still paid the £84 for the diagnostic check. We were informed by our new mechanic that the gasket was put on the wrong way and that this would make their job more difficult (did not change the price we were quoted/paid) and was most likely done intentionally.You do need to investigate how this happened. Either by the incompetence of your staff or by malicious acts our car left your garage in a worse state then it entered. We put our car in for investigation which we paid for it. It is unacceptable that in the course of a standard diagnostic check equipment would be put back on in the incorrect position and we paid to have our car returned to us in a worse state then we handed it to you.

!!!!Asked specifically for the Drive Shaft repair of my Jeep.!!!!They were not able to fix it, but decided to do a diagnostic on other small issues and wanted to charge me £84!!!!! for it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Be aware to ask them for the price list before you proceed with any operations!!!!!!!!!!!I had to call the police, before SIMON decide to aggressively throw my keys to my vehicles window, with my family watching.I would not recommend this tricky business.This is my personal opinion.

My works van broke down with a broken drop link which made it impossible to drive on Saturday afternoon outside Albyn garage so i left it in the car park and returned at 7,45am Monday to explain why it was there and asked if they could fix it ....... !0.00am i got a call saying it was ready for collection with only a half hours labour charge, It is easy to be cynical for businesses charging additional hours but in my experience of this garage that just ain't true.

I booked my car in for a MOT. Jordan explained that the car failed and how much it would cost to fix it. The car was ready the next day and got a very good price. I will definitely be using Albyn Garage again for any of my car issues!Services: Exhaust

Best garage experience I've ever had in Aberdeen. They were friendly, quick and knowledgeable. As a solo female, going to the garage isn't always easy but they helped me with everything and I couldn't be happier with the service, especially as they were able to repair my car the same day. I'll definitely be using them again in the future! Thank you so much to Rob, Service Manager, and the team.

Unfortunately broke down and got temporary fix to get me home. Took my car to Albyn Garage the following morning and can't thank Rob the service manager enough for fitting me in or rather my car without an appointment. Fixed gear change cable and front break pads and discs in 4 hrs. Although an expensive fix that was not expected! These guys were brilliant. Highly recommended!Services: Transmission repair
