Optician and lens check great, friendly, helpful and professionalFloor sales staff that are supposed to help you select new frames diabolical, spend more time chatting amongst themselves and trying on glasses than helping customers, I will take my prescription elsewhere. Range of frames not great they are pretty much all the same.

Optometrist was excellent at examining my eyes and explaining issues, however when I had my peripheral test the operator seemed more interested in her phone than the important test she was supposed to carry out...twice I had to remind her that the test had stopped, there was a delay when she realised, ended her phone contacts, and then started the test again, the Optometrist then asked her twice to repeat the test as results were not acceptable...

Don?t bother - they give you an eye test, sign you up for a contract and then fail to send you contact lenses. On my third telephone call I suggested that the lady who ?told me to think about the postal service? did a course in customer service, three visits to the shop, four phone calls to chase my missing lenses - go somewhere else.You can save enough petrol money to pay for your first months prescription. I?m -11, not being able to see is a big deal to me, and sadly not one that SpecSavers understand.

I went with someone to have an eye test, have a complex eye condition, and should be under eye hospital, but they were discharged!!!So specsavers cut a long story,they took over 90 minutes for an eye test, and the person took the script to another specsavers to find out it was for long distance only. It's completely wrong.To be fair, the other specsavers made an error and didn't order glasses, so after 5 weeks, a person still has NO GLASSES.With a complex eye condition, I think glasses should be given free of charge.So when you go to specsavers, request an EXPERIENCED person at all levels.

i was very impressed with the service at Specsavers Witney branch. Although they were very busy on the morning I went and I didn't have an appointment, they served me within 10 minutes and both the greeter, optician and optometrist were very pleasant and professional.
