Had a wonderful one night stay at this hotel. The staff were all so kind and helpful. They made our 1 year anniversary special with the extra touches. Will definitely be staying again and definitely recommend. Good parking for just £6 a night and close to the pear tree park and ride which is ideal for getting into Oxford.

It is a clean hotel with a great location. The staff at the reception are very friendly. The room cleaning lady named Qata is smiling and I am very happy with her service and kindness. She is a real asset to the guests with her treatment.

Me and my mum stayed at this hotel whilst exploring oxford. Highly recommend, the staff are exceptionally kind, Yogev who was checking us in was extremely friendly, which instantly made us feel welcomed. The hotel in general has an incredible atmosphere and the rooms were great. The breakfast was my personal favourite with a wide variety of foods and nice dining area. The staff were also incredibly kind. Definitely would come here again. Thank you

The room was OK, very small though. Could do with a freshen up in areas. The bed was really comfy. The communal areas were beautiful and very appealing. The bar was average hotel prices and had a good menu that catered for meat/veggie/vegan.The MPW restaurant upstairs was basic and uninspiring for veggie/vegan options- the food was bland and basic. The steak was good but pricey. The spa was a let down. And only consisted of a small pool, a 3 seater sauna and a 3 seater steam room. No hot tub or anywhere to sit and relax. The gym looks extensive and well kept.We have had MANY hotel stays and this one just didn't live up to expectations for the price. We have stayed in cheaper hotels and thought much better of the experience than we did this one.Food & drinks: The bar had its own menu but a few things were off the menu making it somewhat limited for veggie/vegan. As far as hotel pub food goes, it was an OK average menu. The Marco PW restaurant upstairs looks beautiful but didn't live up to expectations for the price and what we would expect from such a venue.

This is the first time I?ve ever stayed in a Leonardo Royal. Whilst I enjoyed my experience (or made the most of it), there were a few issues that needed rectifying. The location of the hotel is great. There are other local hotels available in the area too. We found Leonardo to be the perfect choice for us (prior to getting there). We booked Leonardo Royal in order to stay whilst attending a wedding for the weekend. The Parking is great and there are ample spaces, also very reasonable on pricing. (£6 for 24 hours). The reception area is beautiful, warm and welcoming. There are a few restaurants in the hotel itself including a Marco Pierre White. The receptionists, I felt, could smile a little more and provide a warmer reception/welcome.The rooms are a good size, very comfortable, relaxing, decorated superbly to create a calm, relaxing ambiance. The Bathroom however is a shoe box with ?toy? size bath. The hotel, we felt, is generally quiet, calm and comfortable.A nice stay, I would consider my options before returning, however. What could be improved:- The remote control was very rigorous. (Channel Button).- The Tap was falling off- The Shower gel bottle was empty- There was a big stain on the carpet in the corner.(Room 180).Other than these items above, our stay was comfortable and we made the most of it.Thank you for the Leonardo Experience ?

Had a two night short stay here. A rather busy roundabout leads to a rather mediocre looking hotel. However, the negativity stooped there. The welcome at reception was very pleasant and genuine. The foyer and entrance had a scattering of sofas and chairs to sit and felt very welcoming. Our room was spotless, a nice size and a huge bed which was very comfortable. We ate in the on site Marco Pierre White restaurant and it was very very good. Our waiter was a little inexperienced but he couldn?t do enough for us.We also ate breakfast in the restaurant on both mornings and there was a good choice of hot and cold food which was all tasty and good quality. In summary, the experience was totally amazing and very much worth the price paid.I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here and thank all the staff for our very pleasant stay.

Well located to avoid Oxford traffic, and ha parking. Bus or taxi into town simple to book or find. Positive, welcoming staff & functional rooms.Rooms: Small, but functional. Could do with more lights.

I stayed in one of the executive suites for my birthday with my family. Fab little touches (toiletries, sleep pillow spray,a welcome card, drink and chocolate, coffee machine, biscuits, any teabag you can think of) Comfy bed, nice hot shower, Friendly reception staff, use of the pool/gym. The breakfast buffet had every breakfast item imaginable. Definitely worth a visit.

Our first time with this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff throughout were extremely friendly and helpful, the location of the hotel on the outskirts of Oxford is a positive and we had an excellent night's sleep. The No.6 bus is a frequent service into the city centre and stops just outside the hotel. Buffet breakfast caters for most tastes and I must mention the staff who were exceptional in this area. It was very busy and they worked very hard clearing tables and catering to the guests. The good sized bedroom had a king (UK) bed and an open wardrobe. A couple of negatives: the walk from the reception to room 172 has two short flights of stairs and the bathroom failed to meet the overall standard. This latter is small and cramped with a short bath and high sides. If the door opened outwards, (+fitted properly!) and the bath was replaced by a walk-in shower it would have suited us perfectly. On the positive side, the bedroom was quiet and we heard nothing of other guests. Note there is only one USB power point but plenty of well placed sockets. There is a reasonable charge for car parking and a ticket system to exit which causes the occasional hiccup.Based on our experience I can happily recommend the Leonardo hotel.
