Absolutely chaotic with no respect for serving the customer.

I would to report on the staff at Boots, Headington. She was working on 06/12/2023, stocking up shelves and at the counter. She had been rude to customers. Boots was supposed to open at 14:30 post lunch, She watched us stand in the cold and ignored us. When one of the customers knocked on the door she offended all us standing outside the shop. She also banged the phone down after having a stern conversation.It was sad to watch the attitude and definitely ruins people?s mood. I hope this is addressed and a better etiquette is adopted.All the other staff were polite and responsive.Thank you.

Despite of located in the prime location in Headington this shop provides a very poor service, you will always see long queues for the pharmacist and mostly only one person will be available. The available pharmacist doesn't bothers to leave the counter unattended for long times.Most of the times it happened for me to wait more 30-40 minutes in the queue to get served and another 10-15 minutes wait to find the prescribed medication.Closure of the shop due to short staffing is too often as it happened today, the staff are very unfriendly - my be because of the work load.

I reached there at 5.24 but the rude door man slammed the door in front of me and said we are closed I knock on the door and asked if he could call his supervisors and then there comes two more rude fellas one man and one lady and the man got physical with me as he was trying to push me away from the door. And I asked if there is anything written that they are not letting people Come in after 5.20 they said it's common sense as we have to go home early. Very bad all of them no humanity none they are rude incapable people. Do not visit there.It was sad to watch the attitude and definitely ruins people?s mood. I hope this is addressed and a better etiquette is adopted.

Really bad customer service.On one occasion, the cashier didn't ask if I had an Advantage Card before paying. Only after I contested the final price (before paying), it was scanned.On another occasion, the store was closed from 1:30pm to 2:30pm for lunch (which also raises some questions, but ok), and even though there were around 6 staff inside the store, they took almost another 10mn (past 2:30pm) to open the store. By that time, there was a large queue of customers in front of it.

I'm so done with the Pharmacy at Boots in Headington. Queues are always bad as the staff seem to be incapable of running a system where customers are served at the same time as prescriptions are fulfilled. I've stood in the queue for over fifteen minutes with not one person being served as the staff ignore the growing queue. The last straw was going in one Friday when I had an email to say my prescriptions was ready. This proved to be untrue and was told to come back on Monday when I was promised it would be made up and ready. Went in late on Monday. Queued for twenty minutes to be told it was not ready. Had to wait another fifteen minutes for the pharmacist to fulfil my prescription. Appalling service and needless to say have moved my pharmacy.

For 3 days I tried calling the phone 15+ times a day. Nobody ever answered. I called to try and sort out my repeat medication that I cannot go without, when I went in to ask in person they said I couldn't order it in the store. What a joke. I have changed pharmacies now to the Rowlands at the Manor Surgery which is just down the road and am so much happier there

To start, they have siesta between 13:30 -14:30, which is not on their website, so come, hit the locked doors and go back. God forbid you need to get to the prescription / medicine counter, you will have to queue for at least 30 min, even if it's just 2 people in front of you, very very very slow, the customers are low priority, for example, tipped over delivery box is higher priority and will take at least 10 min for 2! members of staff to very very very slow pick up, and 5 minutes later to tip over again! Painful!

As a previous Boots employee where I worked as a healthcare advisor, the healthcare counter here is disgracefully slow.Wait times of 20-30 minutes for OTC medication. 30 minutes plus for prescription. Closed at unannounced times. Serious lack of efficiency and leadership on the healthcare team.

Prescription was automatically sent to this branch but I was away from Oxford so needed to collect it from another branch urgently. I had to therefore contact them to arrange for this to be done. They never answer the phone (I tried 100+ times!) and there's no facility to say you're in a queue or that anyone will ever answer your phone call! Terrible service and had to go back to my GP to reissue prescription. Considering this branch is the local Boots to the hospitals and in an area of many care homes etc., this should be a flagship branch.

I?m really fed up of this shop and would avoid it more if there was another pharmacy on the high street. It?s constantly understaffed, there are always huge queues for the pharmacy and some of the non pharmacy staff are consistently rude. I go to the boots in Cowley instead wherever possible - that boots is about 100 times better.
