Paid a £250 deposit prior to Christmas to come out and quote for a heat pump, but I've emailed the company 4-5 times, emailed both customer services and a direct email for staff personnel, plus tried every number I have but no answer, not sure if they've gone bust, but definitely wouldn't go anywhere near them

I paid them £1,350.00 pounds a year ago for a 5 year service & warranty contract on one of their newly installed systems in a 2 year new house. Their first service (or rather their contracted engineer they sent out) was perfect, professional & knew his stuff - I was really impressed & he fixed a few things. Now waiting for them to contact me for the 2nd year service & no contact so I tried to contact them without success. Their phone is dead & judging by the previous problems read here I would assume they have now gone bust. Usual con I expect - build up a company on image, bullshit & debt, get the prior orders for longer term contracts & when the ponzi scheme doesn't work any more the directors walk away with shed loads of cash - The usual limited liability company trick - shameful. See if anyone else paid on a credit card & try to claim for cash back on non delivery of service. I paid on debit card unfortunately so I am really stuffed. Also write formally to the company for the attention of the liquidators & state your claim.

I have a ground source heat pump which was supplied by Ice Energy. Plumbers are not great with this technology so I requested a servicing package from Ice. They booked us in 6-8 weeks in advance which is fine but then a few days before the allocated day they called to say they couldn't make the date. We had to wait another 4-6 weeks! Really painful if you have booked time off work to be there.

What a company, you will really struggle to get through to these guys, when you do thay are fine but expect to make many phone calls before you speak to anybody!!
