“I must say the staff here are amazing, friendly and amiable no matter who's working, they even do free treats of hot chocolate and sweets for the children at Halloween, other shops should take note. Keep up the brilliant work!”

“Disagree with the ups, done it loads of times and never had any problems??I personally think it’s the friendliest shop in Abingdon, day or night and very helpful with anything in store and directions for someone which I’ve witnessed?5 stars ain’t enough ???”

“Top feature of the village! Good source of staples, post office is so convenient and the volunteer staff are always cheerful!Good source of hyper local knowledge and books. Post office can be very busy at peak times with people returning items from eBay Amazon etc.Shop has a good range of ingredients and ready to eat meals. Wine and beer is sold along with the usual milk and ice lollies!Always makes me smile as I walk past when there's a new display in the window too.”

“This review is based particularly for Harry andGina . The post office was closed due “technical difficulties” when I went in on Monday 13 Dec around 7pm. Harry said Gina would be able to help me.She definitely went above and beyond to give me advice on what postage I would need to put on parcels and certain size envelopes. And spent a lot of her time helping . Luckily I had my stamps with me.It meant my post would go the next day. This really was exceptional service - she even helped me to look for my mobile phone I thought I had lost !On the the whole the service in this store is very good generally but this deserves a special review. Thank you”

“The shelves are already showing the signs of Brexit with slightly less stock on the shelves but it's hardly noticeable. Nice staff. Friendly staff. The options of meats, and almost no fish other than a couple of very small salmon steaks is disappointing. I wish it was better especially coming up to Christmas. All in all a good small shop.”

“The chicken noodles they do here are so similar to what you'd get from a chinese restaurant! And the chicken in it is so very moist and tender!! Also, the dried mango packets, for £2, from here are a great price and delicious!”

“Visited the store for Tesco Caramel ice cream. Non on the shelf. I approached an assistant for help. Ella checked, then checked in the stockroom fridge just in case you had supplies. Sadly none. While I was at the till point she checked and advised that the Tesco Oxford Road Abingdon has some in stock. I thanked her. Well done Ella, excellent customer service.”

“There are loads of choices in here! The "Ham and Cheese Roll's" are anazing! The cheese is smoked, and it also has another layer of cheese, similar to Primula Cheese Spread! It's not too much cheese either, it's delicious!! The bread ALWAYS tastes fresh and nice and doughy too! It's my go-to whenever I can get to One-Stop!”

“Really nice people and great service but who sets the price? At £1.45 for diesel that is a massive 10p more per litre than the national average and 12p more per litre than nearby towns!”

“Just about to check out from our two night stay. All in all very good - fast efficient check in, usual clean and tidy room etc. The room was very large compared to some other PI's We have stayed in. If anything negative to highlight was perhaps some of the corridors need a bit of TLC - Just looked a bit worn from foot traffic and woodwork hit by suitcases etc. That aside all was good - I'll leave a separate review for the adjoining Beefeater restaurant.”

“Amazing village shop. The staff are great. The stock is good. A lovely place to get your staples and more. Good prices.Normally for me quite quick to get in and pay. Yes it does get busy. But that’s the same with any shop. I always receive top notch customer service. Nothing is ever to much for the staff here. Always happy to help. Thank you to the staff that work here for always wanting to help. ❤️”

“Puts the "convenience" in convenience store! Great little local supermarket with the kind of hours that means you'll always have milk for breakfast and a beer with your Friday night curry (and vice versa!) A touch pricey although they do sometimes price match with other supermarkets. Staff are friendly and helpful.Oh and their own brand salt and vinegar crisps beat all the big brands on taste and crunch. Buy them when they're two for a £”

“This shop is always good and I've never had complaints to be honest, its just really annoying that they decide to throw 80% of their staff on the shop floor, wielding massive stock carts and marching down aisles making it feel like an active warzone. Gotta be on your feet and prepared to dodge if you want to make it out with your ankles in-tact”

“Good selection of foodstuffs. More expensive than supermarkets but good quality food. Post Office attached to business is an asset. Cash from UK banks can be withdrawn inside building only from Post Office. Excellent Co-op staff during normal daytime working hours.”
