Disappointing ... We had a reservation for two and it took a few mins at the front of the queue to be seen and seated. It then took 20 minutes for us to have our order taken, when I had to try to gain eye contact with the waiting staff.It took a further 10 minutes to get the drinks. Have came here a couple of times over the years and I must say, my recent visit this evening left me disappointed.Firstly, the staff initially struggled to find us a table for two, even though the restaurant was about 70% full. Came here a few years ago and was so impressed - big portions, bustling atmosphere, fast service. Based on this experience we decided to return. To our disappointment the food portions had been reduced greatly whilst the prices had significantly increased. The food itself tasted okay but was not worth the price. Annie started her Burger Shack in 2009 at The Old Angel pub, and then moved on to The Navigation pub - both in Nottingham city centre. As demand for her burgers grew; she needed a bigger venue! In January 2014 The Original Annie’s Burger Shack opened at 5, Broadway in Nottingham’s beautiful and historic Lace Market.
