I had a parcel delivered to this post office from Amazon , I went to collect it and was informed by a member of staff that I would have to wait until they had acquired a internet signal before they Could scan my barcode to enable them to give me my parcel that was sitting behind him on the shelf .. When asked how long I had to wait I was informed that he didn?t know but he expected to get a signal very soon.. when I asked if this is was the normal routine I was informed by the staff member that it was indeed quite normal and most costumers have to wait around in the shop or outside until they they had managed to acquire a internet signal .. I must admit I left the shop scratching my head and wondering if I just visited the twilight zone

Royal Mail are pathetic. They tried redelivering this morning when I was in. Never heard them. Won?t leave with a neighbour as requested. Won?t leave in a safe place. How about a phone call!!!! That would be intelligent wouldn?t it????

Collection times are a joke, if you?re working then you have to wait until Saturday to collect your parcel. I?d never use Royal Mail if I didn?t have to because of lack of choice in some online stores.

It's almost like they thought.....how can we screw people who work full time and want to collect their post? I know let's make the opening times as random as possible? Lol open 4 hours on a Saturday then...... pub?

The collection times have changed since I last went and the hours are a lot better and later also, which is good I think. Really helpful and friendly staff. The worker today saw I had a buggy and came out to assist me as I was still approaching, which was nice

Bloody part timer's need to sort these hours out rather than 2 hours on 2 hours everyday and only opened for 2 hours every Monday all day which is absolutely pointless and they may as well not bother opening on a Monday's at all

Might be worth publicizing the new opening hours during the covid pandemic. 7am-9am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Closed Wednesday and Sunday. Being closed on their longest day poses an issue for key workers being able to get their parcels.

Just a suggestion. Maybe you can differentiate 2 beckets Avenue St Albans to Hucknall. Nottingham. And today a parcel thatâ??sgone god knows where. Just a thought. Maybe a reading ability??? Just saying.

Went to collect a parcel from Hucknall as website said opens at 7.30, arrived at 8.00 to be told that you now have to collect from main post office which opens at 9.00, what a waste of time.

I'm astounded at the customer service I have received today! I went as usual to check my post box this morning to find a card from the post office saying "sorry we missed you!" The Postal worker left it yesterday and couldn't be bothered to buzz up to say he had a parcel for me! He just dropped it in my box without letting me know and walked off! I don't have a crystal ball which tells me a parcel has been delivered! It's common courtesy to buzz up when there's a door entry system to let the recipient know there's a parcel which needs collecting from the Postal worker or am I supposed to be psychic? David at the Post Office didn't seem concerned, just made endless excuses on behalf of the Postal worker concerned!
