Price was cheaper than most of the nearby stations and benefit of gaining some points on Nectar card.It would be beneficial if the pumps could be upgraded to pay at pump as it is more convenient instead of walking over into the store. The store is okay but have seen better stores, not much inside to make you want to get anything to snack or drink. Quite limited and I think a redo of the station would be a great idea. It seems outdated

Try to go to Sainsbury filling station as often as possible. Recently I was doing about 90 miles per day and always got good service, pleasant and friendly in both Bangor and Holywood stations. Always good value at the pumps plus nectar points as well.

Friendly helpful staff

We have been shopping at this Sainsburys at Knocknagony for some years. A large store with plenty of space to quietly do the shopping and it also has a large Car Park. Staff are generally polite but you do get the odd one, young and old, who just don't like to be disturbed, or be asked to do the job they are there to do. We had two instances yesterday. Firstly, there were lots of items of clothing in the sale. We picked four items of clothing, costs ranging from £9 for a Women's Top to £1 for a little Girl's Skirt. We paid for them, along with our regular Shopping, and then went to the Restaurant for two Teas and a plate of Chips. The Cash Terminal there was not working and the Cashier Girl told us to have our Tea and come back later. The Terminal was not working 45 mins later so we asked to pay the bill. She said £4.80 and I gave her £10. She went to get change, gave me the balance, and at that point I asked her how the £4.80 was made up? Two Teas @ £1.20 each plus £2.40 for the plate of Chips! I pointed to the prices on the wall and said that Chips was only £1.40! Ah well, she said, I'll have to get you another Pound. And that is what she did. No apology of any kind, or even a smile! Secondly, while sitting in the Restaurant I looked at our Shopping Bill, and found that we had been charged £4.80 for the little Girl's skirt that had been reduced to £1. The Price Tag said clearly that it was reduced. The Lady at the Customer Service Desk took the item, checked the item and the Price Tag very carefully, then checked it again on her Computer, and then almost ordered me to put my Card into the Machine! Then without a word, she gave us back the dress and the Original Receipt, and then turned to the Customer behind us. It was only when I interrupted them and asked for the Credit Receipt that she found it on her desk and gave it. Again, no apologies, no smile, no sign of any sort! It wasn't even the rush hour! There were only two Customers at the Till both times. So, can't say they were that busy either! What happened to good old Customer Service, and people saying 'sorry, please, thanks etc'. What happened to a little smile!

Holywood exchange Sainsburys is the best Sainsburys there is around Belfast, as it is so very quiet and tucked out of the way. Maybe people don't realise where it is or that there is a Sainsburys supermarket off the carrigeway. It is a really peaceful place to shop. It has all of the usual things that you would expect from sainsburys ie.off license, end of aisle offers. It has a clothes department, in-store bakery and a petrol station.

Although a bit out of the way I rather like this Sainsburys store, it's not as busy as Forestside or Kennedy Centre and has a better layout. They have a decent sized clothing section with 2 changing cubicles for trying on potential purchases, small toy aisle (so doesn't take too long to drag the kids along) and a reasonable selection of electrical goods. It has the usual butcher, deli & bakery counters. Shelves are generally well stocked and staff are willing to help you find what you are looking for. The off sales section is in the back corner and although not particularly big has a good selection of drinks. There is plenty of parking and an in store cafe. If tills are busy staff are usually quick to open up another especially when you have children in tow!

This Sainsbury's is a great example of the brand. it's a large store located just off Holywood Exchange. For many years I used to work nearby, and this would have been somewhere I called into most days and done the bulk of my weekly shopping here. They have a large car park outside, and a covered trolley bay and cash-point before you walk in. The store is large, well stocked, clean and spacious. I was able to get a lot of items here that were unavailable elsewhere. They do great lunchtime offers and they stock a range of sandwiches and flatbreads from a local Northern Irish company called Deli Lites, which are absolutely delicious, and it's always satisfying to know they are supporting local businesses. They also have a fantastic salad bar where you can make yourself a small, medium or large salad with a fab range of salads, pastas, boiled eggs, etc, or you can choose something hot from their deli counter. Their chicken fillet burgers are really tasty! This Sainsbury's also has an on-site cafe which I've eaten in a few times, and it's always been good!

A great Sainsbury store with brilliant staff. No matter how busy they get they can always be helpful and polite. There are plenty of tills and they will open more if the queues get too long. A great clothing department with several small changing rooms if required. There is a small electrical department that does a great range of dvds and cds. They have a fresh bakery counter and the fresh cream chocolate eclairs are delicious. They do a good range of everything and always have at least one brand of everything you require.

This is a huge sainsburys across the road from Ikea. There's a cafe inside with lots of seating and a good menu. I got the beef lasagne and chips and garlic bread, I thought it was quite Nice, I love the garlic bread. The magazine selection in the store seems to have got a lot smaller , now there's a few mobile phones on sale. Great bakery aisle with lots of choice for home baking. Good sized off licence with craft beers on sale . Lots of parking outside and theres a atm outside of the store and a sainsburys petrol station.

Most people get distracted by the large Tesco sign at Knocknagoney. They forget they have another option just a minute away. It is also beside B&Q and a Sainsburies petrol station if you fancy stocking up on those valuable nectar points.
