Visited the pharmacy yesterday evening as my partner suffers with really bad acid reflux since having our baby. The pharmacy closes at 9pm and I got there just after 8pm. It wasn?t a prescription as it doesn?t happen that often so I needed to buy some over the counter medication for her symptoms. I spoke with the Pharmacist Mr Taple and immediately he was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He spoke to me like I was a druggie and then proceeded to roll his eyes and tut throughout the conversation. I found the whole situation incredibly odd as I was asking for some advice best suited for her and then to purchase the right acid reflux tablets. Surely if he found simple questions about acid reflux that annoying that he needed to be outright rude and unprofessional working in the health care profession probably isn?t for him??? At one point I even said to him don?t worry about it il go somewhere else but bizarrely he then sold me the lansoprazole despite kicking up such a fuss about it. Which gave me the impression he just felt like being rude that day. We all have bad days at work but I got the impression this wasn?t a one off incident. My advice go to a real pharmacy not the Tesco ones who hire in rude agency Pharmacist who are probably on a insane hourly rate. Would give it a zero if I could

Terrible service. Waited 15 minutes today to get some Optrex for my wife. They grilled me about symptoms and said they would need to see my wife and she would need antibiotics! What - really! They refused to serve me so I went to the next helpful pharmacy and got exactly what I asked for! AVOID this terrible place.

Whilst waiting for a covid test to come back I did not get to the pharmacy in time to collect my prescription 111 sent through for me. I sent my partner the following day after he finished work and they said I abused the system by not collecting on the day. Whilst I am sick at home the women at that pharmacy slated me to my partner!! I have never met some one so rude. She has been rude to so many people that I know. We are now changing and going somewhere else, if I had the energy to complain I would. Awful service. She needs a different job.. maybe not with people!!

Worst place ever, you need at least an hour to pick up your prescription everytime. Staff practically ignore you. For a pharmacy this busy, you would have thought they will increase staffing to at least 4 during busy hour but no , two staff. Try to avoid if you can

Closed for no reason 2 days running now. Incompetent staff that should only be filling shelves at best and would probably get that wrong. Pharmacist should also consider a career change. How can people get things so wrong !!!

After many years I am voting with my feet.This dept and its personnel seem to have lost the will.Without using this pharmacy I have no need to visit Tesco so a lost customer.I doubt my review will be noticed, but in feedback as in all matters???.Every Little Helps!!

Thank your stars they don't make up the pills anymore!! It take them at least 10 minutes to get whatever you need to place a ointment into a bag

Un-impressed. Very curt responses from the lady serving, 20 minutes to wait for a prescription to be filled - which given I was there only 15 minutes before they closed was at least unhelpful. The only saving grace for this pharmacy is that they open at 8am, and Sunday.It would probably have been better if I hadn't already waited 10 minutes to be served, with one person ahead of me waiting for them to find his "ready to collect" prescription. I gave them 2 stars because they offer extended opening hours.

If I could give it 0 stars I probably would. Your waiting ages to be told to go back in 10 mins, But you go back & told to come back in another 10 mins...this happens another 2/3 times or your generally waiting 20/30 mins while they have a chit chat around the back...THE BEST BIT....call at 7:50pm to check if they have a prescription, asked the name for them to turn around & say...we can't check as we shut at 8pm & all our computers are turned off ? ok you've 10 minutes till 8pm so why have you turned all your computers off? Not to mention they are rude too!

Called up to make sure my prescription was ready for collection and the lady I spoke to went "make sure you get here half an hr before we shut (at 20:00) because our light turn off and we might not be able to see your details on the bag. I thought"you're open till 8 so that shouldn't matter, maybe I can't get there at half 7 as I might have things to do). I got there at 19:55 and the lady I spoke to (grey short haired) went "you called earlier didn't you" to which I responded. Then a different lady (black short hair) came and mumbled something at the lady who was meant to serve me and smacked the till and just sounded very angry. Gave me a look and just spoke rudely and made sure to say "you've cut it very fine" which I didn't bother respond to because she seemed very unpleasant to even bother responding to. Working with customers means you have to be patient and polite, I haven't been rude to them and regardless of how bad of a day they had didn't mean they had to act this way. Not impressed, especially with the fact that they are pharmacists in the health industry, health isn't just about the phisical side of things but also mental.

Occasionally very friendly efficient service. Other times it has been appalling. The Tesco pharmacy seems to be understaffed, but then you see 3 or 4 staff chatting to each other in the back room part. Doesn?t look like they are working, but even if they are you?d think a long queue if customers would be their priority. At least one lady member of staff gives the impression she really doesn?t want to be there, and that wasn?t just a one-off, it?s every time.
