Interesting place, lots of items behind glass to view, some more interesting items upstairs, depends what you want to look for. Staff very helpful.

Absolutely wonderful selection of items. A wonderful staff who is beyond helpful and also patient with their customers! A lovely young lady helped me pick through several pieces of jewelry and then narrow down my picks. It felt as if she wanted me to leave genuinely happy with my purchases and not just make the biggest sale possible.

This once fine antiques centre in Stonegate York was the pride of the City Centre. Although the staff continue to be friendly and helpful there the items on offer are now mostly jewelry cabinets hardly anything in the antiques line to buy there now..I found it difficult to buy my friend an antique item here this Christmas so went elsewhere. Shame that such an ideal position in York has now little to offer.The cafe upstairs is worth a visit though this was the highlight of my my visit there.For anything antique I would suggest Harrogate where real antiques can be found there..

Very busy... and very full of stuff. You have to get on your knees to see the bottom shelves. Lots to see on three floors.
