Was a wonderful, comfortable experience, the one in york, Mary and Bell were extremely helpful in assisting finding what I was looking for, in the right size and offered advice to when I look for bras in other shops.

Went in to return an item a week after I bought it, well within the 28 day policy written on the receipt I had with me, only to be told they don't return accessories. I then showed her the Ann Summers website where it stated it was refundable as long as it was sealed which it was. The same blunt reply- cant do it, store policy. She was so rude and smug. Been to lots of their stores and never been treated that way before. Won't ever be returning and don't recommend this branch at all.Customer services were very helpful and refunded it for me anyway over the phone so really can't understand why it couldn't have been done in store in the first place.

Staff made us feel uncomfortable and were unprofessional, laughing and smirking at me and my friends, being very judgmental due to us being a group of girls - ended up leaving without getting anything due to the poor customer service

Wow what can I say I returned 2 items within the time allowed, it was clothing on sale, when originally purchased the sales girls were unsure if I could return them. They were wing style to rest on your shoulders still with tags on unworn. Little did I realise she wrote ok to return one? As at point of sale I asked if I could return them, Went in today to return them greeted by Harriet who was happy to help and would only refund one. Pointing out the comment on the receipt. Saying the staff explain in detail at point of sale?! How when they didn?t know the refund policy on an item of clothing. If I had been told this I certainly would have said something at point of sale. She only refunded one. I left the shop annoyed. Now normally would have left it there but I was beyond annoyed went in and she said I had changed my story I had to explain myself again! Getting really cheesed off at this point to be given a credited card to use in store! Yet receipt states 28 days on the back?!WOW when sales staff really aren?t trained and can?t answer what the refund policies are and then to stand ground yet when asked again today on the refund policy on them she couldn?t tell me didn?t know or avoided the question?Just reiterated the comment the previous sales lady had put?! Shame on them.

Me, my partner and friends come in to have a look, we went straight to the back and the manager come up to us and said ?kids aren?t allowed in the back? so we had to show her our id. We are all 22. We then carried on looking and could hear the manager and other staff members talking about us in the front, staring and smirking. When we went to speak to the manager she was very smug about the whole and was smirking whilst we explained to her how we thought it was extremely rude and didn?t appreciate it. Wouldn?t ever come back. The staff are so unprofessional.

I have never written a complaint but had to I went in just before Halloween to purchase something quickly as I couldn?t find an outfit and was told if it didn?t fit I could return it, I tried it on and it was too big so put it straight back in the box I then went to take it back and the women who had sold me it looked at me and shook her head at the women I was talking to she then said the box was too damaged to return. It is in perfect condition the fact I even need to email Ann summers to try and return something and they can?t see any issue with it and why the ship didn?t take it is a joke the online customer service is good but can?t believe the shop won?t be going again. it is not really the money I?m bothered about it?s just a wait of time so don?t purchase something if your not sure

The floor staff are lovely however the manager is the rudest woman I have ever met. I have never written a complaint before but I cannot believe her disgusting behavior. I have no idea how she hasn't been sacked. Love the products but will not be going back whilst she still works there. Outrageous how rude she is to the customers!

I rushed from work outside of the centre to get a bus and run to get to Ann summers in time before they were to close at 530. My only purpose of being in town was to return an item that didn't fit. I got there before 25 past and the 2 workers had already locked the door and were hoovering. On the door and website it clearly stated that they were to close at 530. I had completely wasted my time and money getting into town and for no reason. There was absolutely no reason explained anywhere to state why they locked the doors early. I saw 2 other customers try to get in in the time they should have been open which is extremely unfair. If the workers decide to close early the website should be updated to reflect this or they should advise that they'll be shutting early. This really frustrated and inconvenienced me. I don't know of any other high street shop in the centre that decide to close earlier than stated for no apparent reason.
