Very quiet mid week. 4 out of 5 parmos were burnt on the bottom, staff replaced straight away. Service was great, just put a dampner on things. Free round of drinks as a kind gesture. Not the best parmos for the price

Great family Sunday

Couldn't fault it. Thoroughly nice meal, enjoyed by everyone in our party without exception.

One of the best Sunday roasts at a reasonable price. I would have given 5 stars had the standards been a touch more consistent. A few years ago they had a chef that produced super crispy roast potatoe, so much so one client in the table next to us said they were better than a local Michelin star restaurant. I experienced this twice, but sadly whichever chef was working since was not able to achieve the same standards.Parking can be limited.

Went to the Dudley Arms today for a belated Valentine's lunch as my husband has been working away on Valentine's day. We chose the Dudley Arms because it used to be one of our favorite restaurants. The price of the lunch was reasonable but my husband ordered the ploughman's lunch which when it came consisted of two fingers of cheese, a very small portion of pate to go on two small dry pieces of bread with no butter. Slivers of celery and ham, a couple of slices of apple and a tiny pot of chutney with two sliced pickled onions completed the dish. No sign of any pie or Scotch egg which you would expect on a traditional ploughman's. My husband said it didn't say what it was supposed to consist of on the menu or he wouldn't have ordered it.The young staff were pleasant plus it was supposed to be a nice lunch for just the two of us so we didn't want to complain. Not the same place we remembered so won't return. More like a National Trust cafe now rather than an old pub with lots of character. We have had lots of family celebrations here in the past but it's now definitely off our list of go to places.

Staff were very kind, helpful and considerate towards customers, the food was excellent and you were not waiting long for your food. We come here often for coffee and have tried the food a few times, and it has always been pleasant. The staff are never rude, and are always pleasant to speak to.

Such a shame, The Dudley is lovely and sometimes it?s great however more often than not the service is really really bad. You might get your order or maybe some of it but then again maybe not. There?s a lot of young clueless staff who are always looking miserable who bring your order in drips and drabs if you?re lucky.
