Prices for fuel are generally the lowest in the local area but are often beat by the ASDA at Sweetbriar. On the whole it serves its purpose well but doesn?t do the extra bits very well. An example being the car wash that is regularly out of service as well as the air and water machine.Once upon a time air and water was free but now you are charged £1.50 for water and 50p for air. Avoid the water, I paid this when my car was empty and the pitiful amount of water it pumped wasn?t even enough to clear the ?windscreen washer fluid low? warning in my car!It is also hit and miss whether the pay at pump service will work. Some pumps seem to be more reliable than others. This can mean you are faffing with the machine for a good few minutes only to find it hasn?t worked and you need to go inside to pay anyway. The total spend feature is handy though and that seems to work fine on all pumps.

Rude cashier tannoy lady this evening 4:20pm 24 October 2023. I was reading a fuel additive bottle I?d just added to the fuel & she was shouting at me for using a phone, not a phone, clearly a bottle, very rude. She tried to style it off like it was my fault somehow. If her eyesight is that bad she shouldn?t be doing that job and shouldn?t be left alone without help.

Always good price for petrol but often slow to pay

I lost my bank card and the two gentlemen in the kiosk couldn't have been more helpful, helping me search for it, giving me tips on where to look and when we didn't find it telling me to do a temporary freeze which I had no idea I could do. They managed to alleviate all my panic and I can't praise them enough. Both of them are a credit to Sainsburys.

Good space between pumps with extra long hoses so can reach any side of the car. Pay at the pump makes it all very easy and efficient with no need to go inside.

I always fill up here, great price and convenient for me, but i do miss the old days when u didn't have to get out of your car in the freezing cold, some one came and filled it up for you, you just paid them,

Recently topped up deisel at longwater sainsburys petrol station. Within a minute of driving it my car died. I was recovered by AA and taken to a garage who told me it was the fuel that had damaged my car. They replaced all the fuel and cleaned everything to then try the car again for it to die pretty quickly after starting up. It's written what was my healthy car completely off and I'm now having to scrap it.. complaint is in process. Would not recommend.
