We went into Carpetright in Norwich to pick out new carpet for our lounge and stairs. Paul was absolutely brilliant?super friendly, incredibly helpful with his detailed knowledge of how the process works. We managed to get everything booked in with no trouble. Great service. Great service, really felt at home and no pressure from Paul at the Sprowston store while we discussed and were unsure what carpet and underlay we needed. He really made us feel welcome and chatted with us as we wandered the store until we picked.

Unfortunately my experience has not been great.Misinformation wrongly sending me to another store, wasting a lot of time before my night shift.The advised carpet & underlay for the stairs are not suitable & you can still feel the grippers, one even cut my foot!Fitters took 3 doors off upstairs & only put 2 back on (said their drill ran out) they broke my lampshade & took a large chunk out of the newly decorated stairway, never said a thing & left.I went back into store to advise, emailed & sent over pictures as asked & not heard a thing since, very poor customer service unless your paying a fortune probably.

Excellent service from Mathew at the Sprowston store this morning. He was calmly supportive of a novice carpet shopper and went above and beyond to help me feel confident I?d chosen the right carpet for my study.

Great service from Kerry at the Norwich store, very happy. However problems began on the fitting day. The guys came and fitted the carpet very quickly, in and out within 30 mins. However when I came to inspect the work, I found that they had damaged the top of the skirting board all the way round the room from where they were kneeing in the carpet at the bottom. I expressed my concerns with the fitters however they just looked at me, smiled and said that it happens all the time, and then just left. They wouldn't have even informed me of the damage if I hadn't of mentioned it. At no point did the store clerk or the fitters advise that there may be potential damage caused. This was in a fully refurbished room, so everything was all brand new and finished. Therefore I was gutted to see the damaged caused by the fitters. I now have to pay more money to get a painter and decorator to come and fix the damage, which will probably cost more than what I have just paid the carpet fitters. To add insult to injury, I emailed the Norwich store expressing my concerns however they didn't bother getting back to me. I then emailed the main Carpet Right customer service email address and got a reply to say that the store manager would be in touch asap, however I still haven't heard anything.All in all, seemed good from the beginning however the quality of work by the fitters as well as the complete lack of aftersales service does mean that I will avoid Carpet Right in future, as they simply don't seem to care about anything other than making a sale.Also I would advise others to leave a review after the entire process is complete, rather than immediately after visiting the store which is what their reps push you to do (and are pretty pushy about you leaving nothing but a 5 star review). The store visit is only half of the process.
