Staff are friendly, but all together not had a good experience. I have no clue about cars, and my car needed so much work done, it actually made me think it?s not worth keeping it as Halfords quoted enormous price for parts and labour. Took it to different garage, and the cost for all the work was half of what Halfords quoted, they even found another issue which wasn?t picked up by Halfords on the day and would?ve sent the bill even higher if I went with them. Mechanics in the other garage were shocked on how unreasonable quote from Halfords was.

Awful experience, booked in for 2.30pm which I payed for. For four tyres I arrived around 2.25 didn't get booked in until till 2.50 then they didn't start my tyres in till 3.40 which then took a further 50 minutes which then made me late picking my children up from after school club at school, what is the point in a booking system with time slots if you don't keep to it

One of the worst customer service experiences I?ve have encountered. Rude, abrupt, unnecessarily argumentative and totally unprofessional. I have used Halfords for many years for mine and my wife?s car but this is the final time. Would rather give my money to a local independent garage who will treat and value the custom. 1 star is 1 star too many.

I went in and was kept waiting for about an hour only to be told that I couldnt have my car back as their computer payment systems were not working. When I said I just wanted to pay and get my car back they told me I was raising my voice which I wasnt. I just told them if I had to come back again the next day I would lose money as I work a good distance from Liverpool. The computer eventually worked and after a horrible experience I drove off after being stuck in the garage for about two hours. I wont be returning.

Have booked wheel alignment. Have been told"Unable to do front wheel alignment as OSF track rod end has seized.Recommend booking in for work to be completed" Drove out with steering wheel sitting on angle and DSTC fault light came up on the dashboard. Went to the another garage and got it done in 25min without any hassle. Cost me £20 extra to pay for resetting DSTC light. Halfords Speke, never again,Avoid!!!

Absolute shambles. Booked for an MOT 4 weeks in advance only for them to call me 2 days before to say they couldn't do it. Then they could reschedule it for the day before.Then called me on the day to say they couldn't do it due to machine issues. ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE and won't be considering them at all in future.RUBBISH!

Put my car in at 11.30 to be checked as to why my car heaters are not working.Didn?t hear anything all day untill 4pm and that was after I had rung to ask. I was told that it might be a fuse we can?t find the fuse box and I need to take it to Peugeot because Halfords can?t do it ! Or it could be the motor!What a waste of a day when I could of took it elsewhere !In future I willIf only I could select 0 starsI suppose your going to reply with a thank you for the negative feedback we will improve etc don?t botherImprove on informing customers and not fobbing them off with excuses ! I see you specialise in Peugeot servicing on your website but you can?t even fix a basic problem. Also you were supposed to help me with engine coolant too but you didn?t bother with that either!All that being said some proper advice or direction of what to do ?! Just take it to Peugeot!Avoid this placeNow I won?t be able to use my car as my heaters and demisters are still not working and I am also left not knowing what?s wrong with it.I never complain about anywhere but you have cause be to be a very unhappy dissatisfied customer

First I left my car to change the break pads as there was an alarm on my car. It took 4 hours for them to say the breaks were fine and the were checking the sensor. I had to wait 30minutes there for them to come back and say the only the front breaks needed changing and ai could come back in 2 hours.When I got back they said they would have to change the rear as well. I had to leave the car there overnight to finish the job.Besides that, I had to wake up early and miss time at work 3 times in order to get my car serviced as they didn?t have anyone trained to serviced hybrid cars on those days and they couldn?t let me know.

Booked in for 11.30am but got a text to come 30 mins early, it was only for tyre realignment.4pm and still they haven't done it (apparently it was on the ramp just before they rang)Then the roof fell in cause it was raining heavily all day and they had to abandon the work just as it was starting.when I got into my car the wheels were even worse than before.I rang the receptionist about all of these things and she was just rude and condescending the entire time.Avoid this place.

Car booked for full service and MOT check, they said they needed to change all spark plugs & I agreed. Few days later I had to be towed as my car won?t accelerate and the engine was shuddering. Couldn?t reach Halfords so I went to another garage. He said the Bush spark plugs are not compatible with my car and one of them in particular stopped working because it was wet with oil. He replaced that one plug and it?s been fine since. I?d expect someone like Halfords to know what can and cannot be used for specific cars & I?m surprised they couldn?t see the oil getting onto the plugs. So I paid to replace a perfectly working but worn plugs, get incompatible ones installed, break down & had to pay again to replace one plug along with the inconvenience of public transport and lost time. Again, I tried to ring and no one answered so I left it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

HelloI have booked my Vauxhall corsa 15 plate for changing the alternator.The said will be ready next day.The next day the said was delivered wrong alternator and they will receive the right one tomorrow.After that they said was wrong item again and they will bring one from dealer.I should take my car from them as I can?t trust anymore Halfords.I was called the Vauxhall dealer and is out of stock alternator for my car so the things with wrong item was a bad excuse.Do not recommend Halfords Autocentre Speke
