The service here is excellent. The reception is courteous, the eye tests that are available are comprehensive and well executed. You are given detailed explanations of your test results and the possible causes and solutions. I needed a referral to an ophthalmologist and to my surprise it was done the same day. I got a call from the hospital to see the ophthalmologist the following day. That's what you call fast service.It has a good array of frames for eye glasses but the collection can still be improved.

Went to collect glasses on Sunday 26/11/23 and the lady who served me was lovely. I am so sorry I didn't catch her name but she had a Scottish accent. Thank you for the good service.

In this store, the feeling on the weekend is that it is the customer's fault that they have to work in the glasses store. I felt very bad in this store as a customer. It has never been like that, when you feel like you are not expected and you are a nuisance. Doctors on the second floor are very kind, but on the first floor, the staff is very bad. Rude and unresponsive. They also makes bad comments about the kind doctor upstairs when he doesn't understand anything about glasses and sale. Really. In my opinion, this is not true. Because you made the glasses as thin as the doctor recommended at the beginning, but you did not allow us to buy spectacle frames. Unlike other optical shops. Bad attitude. I will never go back there again. I did not deserve such bad attitude and statements. Some comments were even punishable by law. My hearing is good. And I heard everything well.

Had a full extensive eye test booked for 9am this morning following a previous test the week before that had found a bleed on my optical nerve connecting to my brain. I turned up on time but then waited until 9.20am before being called into the opticians room. I sat in reception while the optician and 2 other members of staff were having a chat and a laugh! I had booked time off work. The Manager on the reception desk could see I was getting irritated and came to tell me there was paperwork that needed to be done! Clearly not the whole truth as she then went immediately into the opticians room obviously to say a customer was waiting. When I finally got into the room the test couldn?t proceed as nobody had told me I would be having drops in my eye meaning I couldn?t drive for 4 hours! Waste of time and loss for earnings on my part! I now have another test booked for a weeks time. Let?s hope there?s no significant damage Specsavers.

Adil the optician was excellent. Explained everything and was very thorough. Brilliant knowledge and took his time with the exam. The sales assistant Astra was really helpful and explained all of the options. She even adjusted my current glasses and replaced the nose rests.
