Too mad at the moment to write a review?absolutely disgusting inadequate infuriating hopeless excuse for a postal delivery service should have the Royal removed from there business tag as its a joke. If its that hard to deliver a parcel that you have to lie stutter make excuses, you can keep the bloody parcel that's been mislaid.. along with all the other things you have conveniently misplaced... fuming.

11.20am Saturday 13.1.24 closes at 12 was trying to collect a parcel that I had missed delivery of. Absolutely ridiculous, shop full had to wait outside and only one staff member. I know patience is a vertue but come on call for another staff member instead of getting customers waiting 20 minutes plus...not great customer service.

I am extremely disappointed with the Royal Mail's services. Recently, I had an important court hearing that would determine the fate of my driving license. I anxiously waited for the court letter to arrive, informing me of the date and time for the hearing. However, to my dismay, the letter was sent on 30/11 but I only received it on 13/12, well after the scheduled hearing had taken place. This delay was completely unacceptable and a perfect example of the uselessness of Royal Mail's services. As a law-abiding citizen, I had followed all the necessary procedures to ensure that I did not lose my driving license. I had provided all the required documents and made sure to keep my records clean. But unfortunately, due to the incompetence of the Royal Mail, I missed my court hearing and as a result, my driving license was revoked. This has not only caused inconvenience for me but has also put my job at risk as I rely on my vehicle for work.I cannot believe that in this day and age, a reputed postal service like Royal Mail can be so unreliable and careless. The delay in delivering the court letter has caused me severe consequences and I hold Royal Mail accountable for it. It is their responsibility to ensure that important documents are delivered in a timely manner. But it seems like they have failed miserably in fulfilling this basic task. This incident has left me with a negative impression of Royal Mail and I am sure I am not the only one. How many other individuals have been affected by their negligent services? How many important documents have been lost or delayed in the mail? These are questions that need to be addressed. In conclusion, I want to express my disappointment and frustration towards Royal Mail's services. The delay in delivering my court letter has led to me losing my driving license, causing me much distress and inconvenience. I hope that action is taken to improve the efficiency and reliability of their services, so that no one else has to suffer the consequences of their incompetence.

Hopeless. Had a text saying my package delivered, the tracking page shows an image of it stuck in the wrong front door. No direct number for the office, have to call and 0345 customer service number with an over 30 min wait time. What a shambles this organisation has become.

Mail delivered once a week if lucky. ROYAL MAIL need to sort their staffing problems out soon. Disgraceful service being provided.

Well today (2-12-2023) there was a QUE outside the door. Whilst the girl running the desk was running around only to hit trouble after trouble with each person. Problems happen but all the time her line manager sat in his office before he would come out or get someone to help with her QUE. Which wasn't her fault.

Lost 2 packages in 2 weeks dont understand how they loose packages? Sort it out and hire people who know what they're doing not people who are here illegally.

Don't even want to give 1 star. Absolutely shocking. Trying to get a parcel delivered to my work address (Its clearly an office address) and they either 'attempt' to deliver on Weekends or after 4:30pm when they've been told offices are Closed or I get text whilst I'm still in the office to say they've attempted delivery but couldn't get access - look outside, no sign of Royal mail and CCTV proves they haven't attempted delivery. Keep ringing royal mail to ask them to leave it at the sorting office and I'll collect, but no one seems to want to use common sense (even after 5 days of failed deliveries.)

They don't even deserve a star, I asked for me to collect my parcel from the post office and they still tried to redeliver to my address twice and now I don't know where my parcel is and there's no updates.

Lacking brain cells. Been waiting 5 days for a parcel that was supposed to arrive on the 29th, gave false hope that it would arrive today (2nd) just for them to bring the parcel to the door and instead of trying a neighbour they wrote and posted a letter saying they?d try again tomorrow (nobody was home) absolute scum purposely inconveniencing and delaying a parcel for everyone involved.

They failed to deliver my parcel 2 times, which would have been fine if i didn?t leave multiple signs in my door saying, ?Royal Mail, I am in, please knock as the door bell doesn?t work? I was at home downstairs all day, and the door was not knocked on, I seen the van drive off went to my door and there was a letter saying it had been taken away, they did not knock on, my dog also acts like a doorbell when he hears someone knock? royal mail are probably the worst at delivering parcels, and clearly reading and understanding what knocking on a door means?

Okay, problems started with the Royal Mail in January when they failed to deliver a parcel while insisting they had and that I had taken delivery. This absolutely wasn't the case but their 'investigations' said the driver's GPS showed it was in my postcode so they weren't able to take it further. Luckily, I was able to get a refund from the company where I made the purchase and they claimed from RM.Because of this, I made permanent arrangements for any further deliveries to be dropped off at my local post office. However, with the latest delivery, they continued to push cards threw my door telling me they tried to deliver to my home address but I wasn't home and they would try again the following day. I rang and spent the obligatory 20 minutes on hold before I rearranged for the parcel to be dropped off at my post office as previously stated. This was all in vain though as I again arrived home from work the following day to another card telling me they tried once more at my home address. This time after contacting them I asked if I could pick the parcel up from the delivery office. This was arranged with no problems right up until I tried to pick it up from the delivery office only to be told it was arranged for me to pick it up from my post office, but the local post office doesn't have it because it was arranged for it to stay in the delivery office. So now, they have no idea of the parcel's whereabouts. The upshot is, that they genuinely couldn't make more of a mess of a simple task even if they tried. Whatever you do, please do not offer an alternative if things go wrong because such simple solutions seem to confuse them even more. Avoid if possible.

This depot is now closed 10am to 4pm weekdays. The only efforts made to make this know to the public is a sign on the door which is pointless once you're actually there.

A signed for 1 off piece of art work was left outside in the rain, no card through the door, just abandoned with no consideration for anyone else's property, typical service from St Helens RoyalFail, I always request a reliable currier service when possible even if it costs more than royal mail (which it usually doesn't) avoid anything entrusted to be sent by this outdated, unreliable shambles of a postal service, no wonder they're being left behind by their competitors.
