Family of 5 went for the Christmas meal; cost us £375.00 for a disappointing experience. 4 meals were served and the 5th one didn?t show up for a long time. Had to ask for it twice before it arrived. We did get an apology apparently it was down to some confusion in the kitchen. Then the same happened with the desserts, 4 came out and the child?s didn?t arrive. Again had to ask twice for it, but also we were promised spoon after the ice cream was served. They never arrived. Staff came to see if we had finished, before the spoons arrived. By this time the desserts had all melted. Just a shambles, we will not be visiting this place again that?s for sure.

First time here and my experience was good all round. The service was excellent and food amazing.Although it was early evening there were a few diners who all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Trying to think of a worse meal but I can?t. We waited an hour for the saddest salad without dressing, and a roast dinner with the driest of roasts, soggiest over cooked sad veggies ever seen. I?m almost 100% certain the starter soup was from a Heinz tin. Absolutely awful, would not recommend to my worst enemy.

The breakfast is great value. £10 for unlimited drinks, cooked and buffet breakfast. There's a really good choice and I like the breakfast is made to order. It's our place of choice now because of the great value!

Upon arrival we waited at the podium and despite staff seeing us, nobody came over (and it wasn't particularly busy). Just as we were about to leave, a member of staff came over, didn't look particularly happy but tried to brush it off as maybe they'd just had a rush before we arrived and was tired. We were seated and we asked for a minute to look at the drinks menu. About 15 minutes later a different waitress came over for our order and we ordered drinks, starters and mains. I ordered a festive mocktail and was a bit disappointed it didn't look particularly festive, felt like a bit more effort could be made but it wasn't expensive. Our starters were the mushrooms and garlic bread. Mushrooms were fantastic but the garlic bread was very soggy so wouldn't recommend that. It was then a very long wait from finishing our starters to get our mains but as we were eating our starters we did notice people joining a large table so expected a wait. For mains we had Ribeye steak and a burger. The Ribeye was lovely and the waitress was very helpful when ordering it but the burger was overcooked - only plus side of the burger was that it was real cheese rather than sliced plastic cheese. We would have had desserts but there were a number of screaming children and we couldn't listen to it anymore (not the restaurants fault, but just to add to the review, I would describe this as a more family place rather than somewhere to get a quick bite to eat)Atmosphere is rated lowly because there was no music playing which led to some awkward silences in the restaurant in between kids' screams. Also bathrooms weren't very clean and taps were looseParking: Very large car park so no worries on parking

The food was very good and much better than I expected, however, the best part was the service, it was outstanding and they put a lot of detail into their allergy protection which is important as two people in our family have serious allergy issues.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with similar issues or just looking for a nice meal.Vegetarian options: Very very good optionsDietary restrictions: They are excellent at handling dietary issuesParking: You have to enter car onto system when you arrive at the reception to get 3 hours free parkingKid-friendliness: Kids are fine hereWheelchair accessibility: No issues

I think with Beefeater they are the same as Brewers Fayre, both owned up the premier inn so they have the same menu. The breakfasts in the morning are great and I cannot fault that. The dinner menus are very expensive though, I got the mixed grill and you don't get a lot for what you pay, a pint of Carling was £4.30 so £2 more than usual. There was only one telly on in the entire place and it were right near the entrance in the corner. There wasn't much going on in there at night, pretty quiet, I would give this place a 5 Star Review but the Mixed Grill was a let down.

Popped in here for breakfast this morning. My husband and I were greeted by welcoming smiling staff. Breakfast had a fantastic variety of continental and cooked options, we couldn?t fault a thing. We will most definitely be returning here the next time we are in the area, to try an evening meal.

Nice pub, nice food, good service. Came here for nephews Birthday only downside was as we were a big group food came out a bit slow the first people had finished before the last had been served. Other than that the food was nice and the service was good.Parking: Parking outside but make sure to put your reg number into the computer on your way in.

Women that greeted us and served us most of the time was maybe waiting for her shift to finish and seemed off it abit but the young man that was on and took over was great and very friendly, food was good and hot so no complaints there, just glad I had a discount voucher as it might have been a bit pricey to be honest.

Limited options, sirloin only available - not great for a steak house. Wanted the mixed grill, only option was to upgrade to sirloin as no other steak available.Perhaps saying what was/wasn't available when customers arrive rather than sat at the table with drinks and taking the food order would have made more sense!!!

Well, I waited in the door to be served for 15minutes while staff stared as me as they walked past and not one greeted me. As I was waiting a queue behind me formed and still no one was seated after 20mins I walked out as I didn't want to spend any more time in that godforsaken door way, and ended up going to Eccleston Arms Bar and Grill and got seated right away. Will not return again. Slow would be understatement

We visited at lunchtime.for a family birthday ? the staff were amazing, they made my husband's birthday extra special, giving him an unexpected little gift and didn't leave our 2 young Grandson's out, they were also given a treat. The food was well cooked and presented nicely. I would also like to recommend their breakfast all you can eat and young children eat free, Many thanks.Parking: Plenty of spaces, and also disabled parking right outside.Kid-friendliness: Children are welcomed and breakfast is free for young children.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a wheelchair ?? it is low level entry, I found the tables easy to access and the right height for me, they have disabled toilets which were nice and clean.
