I visited the Speke store today and was pleasantly surprised with the excellent customer service received.After purchasing my pram and car seat bundle in the summer, as my baby was due late September, I now have concerns that my ISO Cybex Base Z2 is faulty. Flashing green when pulling the leg into position and placing weight onto the base, then with a slight movement in the car turning a corner it flashes red and bleeps, suggesting it?s not secure whilst the baby is in the seat.I explained my concern to Lisa, Store Manager who was very understanding, this is clear the safety of children is paramount to Mamas & Papas. Lisa has arranged for her Car Seat Specialist to review the base left in store, reassured me the car seat was still safe to use without the iso base and how to install it correctly. Whilst arranging a call back with an update the following day and to ensure I feel satisfied for the safety of my baby, Lisa has confirmed she will order a new base to be certain. I am really pleased I purchased my pram bundle here and will be sure to recommend Lisa and the team to anyone, thank you!

I visited on Friday after my pram had broken in the morning. I was after a new pram that wasn't too expensive but was tall enough, could have the baby facing forward or inward and was ideally in stock.Lydia helped me pick one out, she was so extremely helpful. I had previously found pram shopping so overwhelming whilst pregnant, so I was so relieved to receive excellent service and try a couple of options. Lydia even built the pram for me, so I could walk out with the baby in the pram!Almost everything can feel a bit daunting as a new mum, especially as I feel I have made a mistake with the first pram, but all of the staff on Friday afternoon were extremely helpful and so friendly. I love the stuff in mamas and papas, but I'll be back in store because the staff are fantastic!

Wrote an email nearly 2 weeks ago to the email address they've posted on other reviews to complain about the terrible customer service I received in this store and they haven't even responded. Minus 5 stars from me.

I bought a travel systems that arrived over a month back to discover it was faulty. A part in the hood was detached and when I took it back to the store they informed me that even though it was a brand new pram seat I could only have the faulty product fixed and not replaced. Although this was discouraging I decided to take the path of least resistance and wait for the replacement part.The shop assistant informed me that this might take a few weeks and that they would contact me when it was in store. No contact was made to me as weeks went by so I decided to go into store. Once there the same assistant was behind the till and she told me that she would look in the back to see if it had been delivered. She told me it hadn't been delivered yet and I should come back the following week. When I did, she told me that there was a problem with the order and she would have to reorder it and very dismissively told me that it was a popular item and it was likely to be low in stock, so it might take a while. I asked how long the wait would be as my due date was now very close away (3weeks) at this point and she told me I could always use the car seat/carry cot as my baby wouldn't need the pram. Again this was said in an extremely dismissive way that really wasn't called for whatsoever.She told me that the spare part would have to first be delivered to head office and only then could it be sent to the store. She also informed me that this would take a following two weeks and it will only be delivered a week before my due date but that she would send me a message when it was in store.I waited beyond the two weeks and went into store again, with still no message from the store assistant. When I arrived there was a different store assistant behind the till. She found my details and seemed to be confused where the order was and this time called customer services. I had an appointment so could not wait in store to find out the result of her call but she informed me that she would let me know. As I couldn't miss my appointment I decided to trust that she would let me know.Strangely enough when I left the store I received an email to confirm the order of the part that needed replacing. No other time I went into store did this email get sent to me. Leaving me to believe no order was made until now for the replacement part.I have never purchased an item from a reputable store that, if broken, the brand offers not to replace but to fix the broken faulty product. It seems so unfair and not right that you can spend over a grand on something to come broken and just get it fixed. If the part even comes at all. And not to mention the rude and careless customer service I received every single time I went into store. Definitely will never go to that store at all, and will unlikely buy anything substantial from mamas and papas again as well.

They?ll charge you for a standard bag that you?ll get for any purchase and toss in a tissue paper as a decoration. Absolutely horrible customer experience. If it wasn?t the fact that it?s a baby shop, it would?ve closed down a long time ago.

They?ll charge you for a standard bag that you?ll get for any purchase and toss in a tissue paper as a decoration. Absolutely horrible customer experience. If it wasn?t the fact that it?s a baby shop, it would?ve closed down a long time ago.

Holly and Lydia were so helpful when testing the car seat on the isofix base in my car - went above and beyond. They also allowed me to collect an item I had ordered a few days ago, even though I hadn?t had the collection email yet. Thank you so much for your excellent service.

Brought a bundle from a local store a month before baby was born.When we came to use the pram it pulls to the right.I have contacted mamas and papas previously. We are currently awaiting a temporary pram chassis to become available for our pram to be sent off. We have now waited for 5 months! For a bundle which cost nearly £1000 the customer service is shocking!I complaint on Twitter to however have since been ignored. I would not buy from this company again and I would advise others against it also!

Great shop with great products. Came here looking for a new pram the other day. Staff were super friendly and helpful - made our visit and purchase super easy. The only downside was that we placed our order, we received an email saying it was all ready to be picked up in store. When we arrived the staff told us that they didn't have all the items anymore. The only explanation is that they had sold them to other customers even though we'd already ordered and paid for them. Would have given 5 stars if this hadn't happened.

I have just travelled all the way to liverpool from preston to buy Babybjorn harmony (Airy Mesh) carrier 0-3 at £190 to realise that the product is incorrect and have been completed had off this is an absolute SCANDAL !!!!i am extremely disappointed with this standard of service. i am going to have to take a day of work to travel all the way back for you to sort this inconvenience out.you are lucky that i am giving a 1 star review !!! i hope this issue gets sorted with immediate effect as i will be going to trading standards !!!!as you can see this item is wrong and is not made from airy mesh , i have no idea what you have missed sold me. you would of thought at £190 stock checks would have taken place OBVIOUSLY NOT !!!!This is really upsetting as i am a really good customer of mammas and pappas and it saddens me that a well represented store would make a mistake like this you have lost a customer and i will not be dealing with this specific store ever again to purchase products from.
