My boyfriend and I went in looking for a suit and didn?t know where to start. Paul came over and asked if we needed help which we gladly took! He was WONDERFUL! My boyfriend wasn?t sure what sizes he would need but Paul seemed well versed in estimating sizes and we quickly found a shirt, jacket and trousers that fit. He offered to let my boyfriend try each item on to check the fit and to see how they looked together and even brought a pair of shoes close to the ones my boyfriend had at home to get a complete look. He clearly has an eye for fashion as the tie options he brought over were stunning and we quickly settled on a new pattern that goes so well with the suit.Overall an amazing experience, especially after being turned away by Moss Bros because (even though we went in to buy a suit) they said that they only help paying customers.Paul was efficient, polite, well informed and overall a joy to have help us. He apologised for being held up by customers when selecting items from the floor but we didn?t mind one bit as he was still so quick!If you?re looking for a nice suit, go see Paul in John Lewis!

I wanted to use this space to convey my gratitude and appreciation for the help I got from an employee named Paul, I was looking for a suit for my graduation and had no idea what I was looking other than colour. Paul approached me and asked if I needed anything and I hesitantly replied yes as I have had bad experiences with other places in Liverpool, such as Moss Bros who belittled me as I asked for help looking at suits and maybe help getting my measurements taken and they said "we only offer measurements for people buying suits" . As soon as I asked for help Paul was immediately helping me figure out what sizes I needed and what styles would fit me best, and he did so without being demeaning or judgmental. A process I thought would take a whole day or a couple of days was figured out and settled in roughly 30 - 45 minutes. I will definately be coming here in the future if I need any formal clothing sorted again. Thank you again Paul.

Had a wonderful experience today ,my husband was looking for a suit but didn't have any idea what he wanted ,member of staff came over calledPaul, he offered to assist my husband ,excellent services from start to finish a big thank you to Paul .

I was trying to source a discontinued John Lewis wallpaper range in your Liverpool Store, Augusten the assistant was extremely helpful, looked up the range, despite there being none available at that store he advised & emailed the Reading Store as they had some available there. I was advised that Reading would be in touch, which they were within 2 hours.Augusten was extremely professional & took the time to explain the process. Excellent customer service skills, I truly appreciated all his help and the shopping experience.

Amazing service today when we were trying to find coffee machine cleaner ! Two floor staff were very very helpful and then the cashier was very polite and helpful. I guess what you would expect from John Lewis.

Visited today to have something to eat in the café. The set up of the café is chaotic and a bit hard to get used to and people were jumping the queue - it honestly made wetherspoons look organised. The staff in there were great, one of the servers found us a table for space to put the pram and the staff behind the counter were friendly enough. The food was nice and not too badly priced.We made use of the parent room to feed and change our baby. It's good that they have got the room for parents to use, but the room needed to be twice as big as it was a bit cramped.

Bought an air fryer which was never delivered. Contacted Evri and they stated John Lewis never sent them the item. Then contacted John Lewis and they stated Evri lost the parcel and I could either exchange the item for a more expensive one and pay the difference or have a refund. Basically John Lewis never sent the item and blamed someone else.

Waited for an age and eventually gave up trying to talk to the women in the curtains section about getting bespoke curtains made. Rude and ignorant not even an acknowledgement we were there. Eventually gave up and went home.

My daughter purchased a hat for her dad and unfortunately lost the receipt, bringing John Lewis we didn?t think there would be a problem taking it back to exchange for a smaller one. What a shock when I was greeted with ? no receipt carn?t help you attitude ? VERY DISAPPOINTED and me thinking they were a cut above other stores. Needless to say I would never shop there again

I always buy my electrical goods from John Lewis but the TV I bought in2021 has a fault which can happen but I've had the repair company out 4 times now which has meant me taking time out never really knowing till that morning what 4 hour time slot I'm going to receive which is a pain but just 1 of those things the problem is they have now been out 4 times and still not resolved the fault and when I try to reach out to John Lewis all I get is a call centre repeating the same thing and not resolving the problem I have had a faulty T.V for over a month now ad wasted 4 days waiting around now they are asking me to wait another 72 hours for the repair company to report what next they can do ,yes John Lewis are trying but also trying my patience I thought you had to give them 2 chances to try and repair the fault then either replace it or refund me but nothing as yet just another wait be very careful when buying from John Lewis its not the service I was expecting.

Lovely visit to John Lewis, Liverpool today (21.12.23). Always enjoy a lovely latte in the Café and I bought some gorgeous perfume (Burberry Goddess) - the ladies on Beauty were very helpful! I also bought a Quality Street Xmas cracker (£7) which I had filled to the brim with the new Quality Street chocolate (coffee cream) which are only exclusively available to buy from John Lewis - will enjoy them with a coffee! John Lewis - can you confirm please if the Quality Street coffee cream chocolates will be available to buy after Xmas as a permanent stockist? Thank you.

Plenty of everything to buy, not very busy. Rather like Debenhams, with space rented to other brands/shops.Most of the smart watches had been stolen from the displays, very sad. Loose floor tile(s) need repairing.
