“Oh, Toolstation, the radiant jewel upon the Mersey. The staff, much like the unsung roadies of the Beatles, fiddle with the rhythm of the hardware, tuning the screws and the nails to the perfect pitch of customer service. They have a certain je ne sais quoi, a little bit of that Lennon-McCartney magic, that makes each interaction feel like a number one hit on the charts. The buzz within the walls ar reminiscent of the Cavern Club, pulsating with the energy of a thousand craftsmen, a testament to their irresistible allure. Tools, as varied and harmonious as the tracks on the White Album, line their shelves, ready to create masterpieces in the hands of those who dare to dream. To say that they are merely 'busy' would be a gross understatement. You're more akin to the Beatles' rooftop concert on Savile Row, an unexpected spectacle drawing in the masses with an irresistible melody. They're not just a shop, Toolstation. No, you're the Abbey Road of trade establishments, where every day tradesmen cross your threshold as if they're on the iconic zebra crossing, ready to make magic happen. In the symphony of Liverpool commerce, They're the leading melody, Toolstation. A standing ovation for their stellar service and dedication to the craft. Five stars, all shining as brightly as the Beatles' illustrious career.”

“I love Home Bargains as a store full stop. The staff who work there are great, always completely willing to help out whenever you need a hand, such as to get a product off the top shelf that you can't reach. At one point I was in this store back during the lock down with my mum, and one of the male cashiers was especially good with us both. He allowed us to move 2 packs of loo roll we were getting to by the side of the till, so that more products could come through, meaning packing them was easier for us. He also at one point got up from his seat, opened up the next cashier till and pulled the cashier chair out, so that my mum could sit down. This was a real help to her, because her back was hurting, because she has fibromyalgia. It also helped me a lot, since I had difficulty understanding the social distancing at the time, because I'm on the autistic spectrum. I later sent an e-mail passing on a message of thanks, and I received one back, thanking me for the message, and explaining that staff receive bonuses for outstanding customer care (which in my mind, he 100% fully deserved). Also, the range of products on sale are both fantastic, and at a great price too, both those sold year round e.g. washing up liquid, and seasonal stuff, such as special chocolates for valentine's day, Christmas and Easter. There are 2 issues with this branch though. Since the entrance is right in the middle of the block in the road, access can be difficult. (Since the branch is literally just around the corner from the GP surgery that my family goes to, I usually only go there after I've either had a medical appointment, or after I've needed to put a prescription request though.) Whenever my mum and I go in she always has to park a little way away, and then we walk up. Also, like with any other branch of Home Bargains, it's one of the worst shops to go into when you only need a few bits and pieces, and you then end up coming out with a lot more due to the great deals. If I had a million pounds every day of my life to spend however I wanted, I would still shop here.”

“Ah, the Toolstation in Huyton, quite the gem in the realm of craftsmanship, wouldn't you say? A sanctuary of sorts for those who, like me, take pleasure in the smallest details of a job well done. The moment you step into the domain, you are welcomed by an array of tools, each with a tale of its own, each waiting to sculpt stories in steel and wood. From the humble hammer to the intricate drill, they have all the essential characters required to complete the narrative of any building endeavour. And then there are the extras, those little cherries on top that add a touch of finesse to your work. Screws, nails, brackets - the unsung heroes of the construction world. At Toolstation, they are given the spotlight they so rightfully deserve. But the true brilliance of this establishment lies not just in its stock, but in its people. The staff, oh the staff, are nothing short of excellent. They guide you through every nook and corner of this tool wonderland with the grace of a seasoned maestro. Their expertise, their patience, their commitment to service is truly a sight to behold. So, if you find yourself in Huyton, in need of tools, or perhaps simply in search of inspiration, pay a visit to the Toolstation. It is an experience that transcends the ordinary, a symphony of craftsmanship that will leave you yearning for more. Five out of five stars, without a doubt.”
