This school was my third and last primary school from Y4 to Y6. They are good academically but the amount of pressure put on literal 10/11 year olds for sats was ridiculous. I still have bad anxiety about failing because of the amount of stress the school have me to do well in Sats. They aren't even important yet the entire of Y6 is based on them. The headteacher when I was there was Paul Martin, I don't know if this is still the case but he was awful. There were these things called highflyers where u get to go to the front in assembly and get a certificate. He decided to make an assembly saying if children are badly behaved they will get a bad highflyer. This wouldn't have been so bad with just him saying it as a joke and clarifying it was joke but he didn't. He had the main lights turned off wit the stage lights on red and scared the life out of the little ones my sister in reception came home xry because she was so scared she was going to get a bad highflyer. He was also just unpleasant and dimisvie of anyone's opinions, I once spoke to him in Y6 and he was very patronising and rude when I was saying we should consider raising money for white rhino's this year for the school non uniform. Overall this school gave me mental health problems at age 10 wouldn't recommend.
