Waited for so so long in the queue today - only 1 person on counter and then when another appeared the first one grabbed her iPad and came out onto the floor to join the other 3 !!! Customer service sadly just appalling

Always closed most people finish at a normal work time, so you finish work usually 4ish then nip to bank and its closed at 3 everyday can you believe it

Visited the bank this afternoon. With it being a Friday you?d of thought the bank would plan pre-plan and expect it to be a bit busier than usual??not this branch. 5 members of staff I saw walking around, including a bank manager, yet only one on the counter. Absolutely ridiculous. Waited over half an hour and then up and left after still 5 deep in the que. Changing banks, utter disgrace and lack of any management plan there.

Went into the Grimsby branch with my Wife to pay off the mortgage in full with today's expectation of have to climb through loads of hoops and jump loads of hurdles. Me and my Wife and kids stood with the lady at the desk for a full 30 minutes much to people in the queues dismay. It turns out the next free appointment is in 17 days time!!!!! Shocking is not a word for it.

5 starts experience at Grimsby branch! Top service, professional and the best example what means "extra mile for the customer"!!! I'm talking about little brunette lady which serviced us at the branch, it's shame I didn't catch her name. On 11/06/2022 Saturday, my uncle (barely speaks English, so I was helping him) was struggling with some money transfer. Because of scammers, extreme banking security is in place and also, because of some ego driven banker on the phone(this will be another review), which caused my uncle's bank account to be frozen... When we went to the bank, the young lady was absolutely the best example what every employer dreams about, she understood the situation, knew exactly what to do, brilliant communication, good energy, it's shame that the process let us to the phone, so, again was waiting "game" on the phone, till brach closed at 1 pm. But even then, she managed to transfer call to uncle's phone before we left the bank and we managed to solve the issue even after bank was closed! Absolutely impressive job of this yong lady, top quality!!!

Needed counter service and there was only one staff member on with 4 people in queue in front of me. Gave up after 20 mins when there were still 2 in front. No wonder people are moving to online only banks. Gave 2 stars for the front of house staff member who was lovely.

After a bit of a slow start, highlighted the need to cater to people who are not so mobile & have health issues queueing for long periods of time. Upon a 2nd visit Fred the lady concierge recognised me & asked me to take a seat whilst maintaining my position in the queue. Staff were very helpful & friendly in a sometimes fast paced & fraught environment. Great response from the bank after a problem was highlighted to them.

Couldn't open childrens saver accounts in branch, had to be online, or nearly two week wait for phone call. (also felt this was communicated slightly rudely, and certainly in disinterested way)
