Short or long nature walks. Dogs not allowed as National Nature Reserve. Lots of dragonflies to see at the moment. Have given 4 as no cafe, but coffees and ice creams available at visitor centre. Also activities for children, dates on the website.

After too many years of not visiting Far Ings I made the snap decision of heading there and how pleased I did . As I drove down the Visitor Centre drive a Marsh Harrier glided across in front of me to the Reed beds . During the course of the morning I observed a pair of Goldeneye ducks busily diving ,varied wildfowl , Reed buntings and two very friendly Robin's at close quarters . Briefly hearing a hidden Bittern boom was an added bonus .The Visitor Centre located by the Humber bank path is open to All and a perfect stop for coffee and small gifts . It was manned by a friendly and knowledgeable female Trust staff member .I recommend a visit and join the Lincs Wildlife Trust .
