“Kay went out of her way for our boys, as did her lovely daughter. Karen, Alex and Holly are always brilliant and friendly.Very special mention for a very special person called Dutch. Dutch is simply outstanding work my neurodiverse boys-- distracts, engages in their interests and makes them laugh. Dutch has a very easy and likable manner which puts people immediately at ease.They would have had 5 stars, however the blonde long haired lady that does the pre measurements is so dismissive, doesn't engage in any form of eye contact, or even basic pleasantries; she simply repeats herself until you do what she tells you and then dismisses you. She was incredibly impatient with my autistic children as one has sensory issues and didn't think the device she wanted him to press his face against was clean enough. Maybe she just doesn't like anyone, but my children don't understand that-- they only think they made her angry and couldn't let it go afterward/becoming agitated thereafter. It took the luster off the experience for my children for sure.Outside of this one person mentioned above as an exception, Specsavers opticians Wigston is a customer and neurodiverse friendly experience with some very genuine, chatty and outgoing people.”
