My boiler broke down on New Year?s Day and I rang EMRS and they were good, came out within a few hours, repaired the boiler straight away, friendly chap came and we were very happy with the standard of service provided and we would highly recommend this company to customers.THANK YOU EMRS.

I've had no heating and hot water since Wednesday.. we called East Midlands Reactive Maintenance for an Engineer to come out to check our boiler, the engineer came yesterday (09/11/23), he didn't know how to open the cover of the boiler, so said the wiring on top is not allowing the cover to open, so you will need an electrician to sort the wiring out before I can check the problem and went within 5 minutes... I got my relative who is a qualified electrician to come down to sort the wiring, but the problem wasn't that it was a screw on the bottom of the cover which the engineer didn't take off.I have had these issues everytime their engineers turn up to check our boiler for a yearly service, wish they can do a better job with the money they take for the insurance cover!

Had the worst experience. Engineer came and didnt even check the boiler properly. Made false reports to the company and left the boiler in a worse state.

Really wouldn?t recommend this company, I had an annual service booked through Domestic & General. I was expecting a call from this company, they didn?t call. So I had to call them instead. I had a service booked in for today from Monday, after receiving texts every day and even on the morning, customer service said I didn?t have a booking and tried to pass it off, customer service which wasn?t professional and quite rude said we also have an engineer off. So can?t happen today and rescheduled for 3 weeks time.All of this was with East Midlands customer service team.Service: Heating system maintenance

Following a water leak claim with the insurance company, the "engineer" phoned me and asked me what the problem was. I explained in great detail what the problem was and explained what was required, including lifting of the floorboards. He growled and said he would be with me in 50 minutes. He came in, had a very quick look. He then smashed up a small box in the corner of the airing cupboard damaging what was inside. He did not even bother to look under the carpet in the airing cupboard to see if he could get to the leak.He turned round and said: "Nothing I can do" and left within 5 minutes of arriving. Totally unprofessional in ALL aspects. I will be submitting a claim for compensation through the insurance company.

Appalling ?service?. Poor communications. Rude and deceitful on telephone. Never showed up for appointment but then brazenly claimed that the engineer called ?the other number? when they arrived at premises - we have call log proof neither number was called - and we had been promised 30 minutes heads up call, anyway. Stay away! These came out through domestic and general and have made my boiler worse. I cannot turn my heating off now which i could before. They have turned a small problem into a big problem. Rang to speak to them this morning and customer service is shocking all she could say is someone will be out this afternoon he has to follow his route. They have caused these issues so they should come out as a priority. I have a 5 year old and my husband has ashtma he was struggling to breath last night as house was so hot but they dont care they will just get 2 call out charges from domestic and general.Service: Heating system repair

Boiler made worse after initial call out. Next appointment for Monday I cancelled for due to a hosp. appointment. No problem we can change it to Tuesday they said. They called me on Monday morning to say my Monday appointment would be afternoon instead of morning....?? But it was changed to Tuesday I said. OK they said it hadn't been updated no problem.
Tuesday I called them to make sure my appointment still on to be told it's now Wednesday!!! No one notified me I wonder if they know what they're doing???

East Midlands Non Reactive more like.Been ringing you for 4 hours. Even the insurance company have tried to call you! Then I get a text saying someone is coming in 3 days time.I?ve no hot water, front of the Boiler is hanging off, and 3 children to look after.
