The course really broke down calculation methods and helped explain the basics i.e. it helps to solidify your understanding before teaching the necessary methods. What I particularly liked is that the tutor also focused on the wording used within the question and how this can change the approach and methods used in the workings out. Asking questions is always welcomed, and discussions are often started when going through example questions (there is around 10-12 students per class). This helps to understand different methods, and think about different aspects to the questions that you may have missed. There is a friendly atmosphere all-round, and the course was a brilliant opportunity to network and meet like-minded pre-registration students.
