Definitely recommend this post office - fast, friendly service with a smile, where no job is ever too much as the team is always happy to help. Had my daughters birthday balloons from here too and although it took me ages to decide which ones to have, the owner did not rush me at all and was very patient until I chose - excellent customer service with a fab team.

After looking through some of the reviews, this seems a common score. If I could give zero stars I would. The woman (who always seems to be there) has no customer service skills, isn't warm or friendly. The till area never has anybody there when you go in, she's always out the back and ignores you until she's ready. When she does come to the till there's no apology, she just makes you feel inconvenient for dropping in as she's apparently "busy" I rate on here quite a lot I feel and almost always a good or positive experience but this isn't the first time she's served me and its been disappointing but chose not to leave a negative review. However, I will rethink the next time I need to send a parcel. Instead of walking and using my local high street post office, I'd rather drive to Hinkley or pay £2 for a Hermes collection from my home. Doesn't that just say how awful the service was? Unless she was to leave, I wouldn't return. Once you can forgive for a bad day, but this is clearly her attitude. And quite frankly, it sucks!

Fantastic little post office with some excellent services on offer....amazing helpful staff willing to go the extra mile. Ordered some balloons for my daughter's birthday party they were amazing, good quality and not over priced like some high street shops. Would definitely recommend this post office.

I got my daughter a balloon from here for her birthday last week. It was perfect! I would highly recommend this place. Plus the staff / owners are so lovely and welcoming!

It's good to send parcels only really. I would not consider this a proper post office it does not provide half of the things stated they should on the website. Ie: Fuel vouchers from the government and council should be able to be cashed at any PAY POINT but not this one. Also you cannot transfer your old currency at this post office. which it states you should be able to on the website as the post office are in direct contact with at least one bank per working day so this can easily be converted but not with this post office. Overall this is not a very good post office in my opinion. It does not offer the majority of fundamental services other post offices have had for years over. Weather that be staff bone idleness or lack of resources invested in the post office. I will also say I have felt the customer service could be better. To instantly dismiss something without even looking into it just comes across as plain lazy. In response to the Owner replying to the review. I would advise speaking to your area manager and seeing what other services you could provide in the future regarding services that larger post offices can do. Some are very simple. I do find it rude to reply to someone's review without having the common decency to spell their name correctly especially when it is stated at the top of the review. All businesses have been hit hard by the covid pandemic that is completely irrelevant to the points raised. I can only assume this is being used as some kind of "cop out" to shift the blame of the lack of services on the current state of the world. when this post office has been the same for many years. It is the only one in the village and I personally think a few more services which are easily provided should be for the good of the community and for better access for all people to better use the post office services. which can only ultimately benefit the post office with getting more customers through the door. Advertising services that you do not actually perform is also misleading you have a pay point sign you display but yet when I tried to use this service I was denied. I have now reduced my score to 1 star which I still think is far too kind for this post office. This morning I tried to use the post office service again (How silly of me) So I walked upto the door and looked at the opening times they stated that opening is 6:30am everyday except the weekend yet when I tried to walk in the door was still locked making me feel embarrassed to have tried to use the post office the time was 6:37 am way past opening times yet there were two people just staring at me making me feel more uncomfortable. Why would you have opening times on the door if you are not going to open at that time I think you should remove that sign and replace it with open when we feel like it !
