It's always very quiet and makes it more enjoyable. Staff are always welcoming and have great customer service skills. There's lots of parking and is very accessible

Probably the only place near Cumbria with a choice of south Asian cinema.

Really bad sound system. I went atleast 4 times and every single movie was playing in a below average volume!! What is the point of watching filims in theatre if you cant even hear the conversations loud enough!! When I went and reported it, the staff told me the volume is full. I know the tickets are cheap enough, but good sound system is a basic requirement.. I hope you understand!!!

First visit to the Odeon cinema in a long time and found it to be a fairly disappointing experience. We arrived early for the 7.20 showing in case there was a queue (like in the old days of cinemas). We need not have bothered as the foyer was almost empty. To pass some time we ordered some beers from the food counter. Two small bottles of Brewdog IPA were delivered which half filled plastic pint glasses. The bill - £12!!! I know that the cinema has big overheads but charging that much is sheer extortion.Still reeling from this shock we headed for screen one to watch the remastered version of Les Miserables. Before the film started we were subjected to over 20 minutes of inane advertisements. The theatre was less than a quarter filled with viewers of the film. This may have been due to the unpopular film but I suspect it was more due to the expense of the modern cinema experience. In these days, most houses have large screen TVs and superior sound systems. Added on to the ability to stream films or purchase DVDs it is cheaper to avoid the cost of a visit to the cinema.Another advantage is that you will not get ripped of by the high prices of drinks and treats served by the bandits behind the food counter.Overall, a very disappointing experience and not one that we want to repeat. The Odeon at Preston is definitely off our list of places to revisit.

Prices here can be slightly expensive. They have Costa in here but not so much of a variety of food. The cinema halls are not that big and the seats are all at the same level so even if you grab the last seat it feels like you are sitting in the front. But overall a nice place to go hangout and watch a movie if this is the only cinema close to you.
