This company has the most ridiculous online procedure for opening an account. So I go in to the shop with ID I was asked to bring to be told I need yet another so Iget it. Then back at the shop I am asked rk wait 10 mins because the reception person has to get someone else. Just rubbish

Service could be quicker

I experienced a pretty inefficient service. Ordered a power tool after a bit of discussion about the most suitable. Booked to collect it rather than have delivered. It was then delivered on the day I was supposed to collect it, but with the wrong sort of drill bit. I drove to then to swap bits, only to find out they didn't have one suitable despite being told otherwise on the phone. After a bit of faffing they offered an alternative, which I was sceptical about. Drove home, tried it for the task I needed it for and it wasn't suitable, so I drove back to Speedy. The guy there was doing his best to help me out, which I did appreciate, and eventually found me a tool and bit which were suitable. By this time I'd spent around 1.5+ hours going back and forth.\\nUpon returning the drill after the hire period i was sat outside for 5-10 mins before somone came to correct it. I was asked to wait for a can in a few minutes for the deposit refund. After waiting for almost 15 minutes I called them, and was told a different cost to the original hire due to delivery cost (which I specifically said I didn't want, and it was delivered with the wrong bit anyway) and insurance. I disputed this and was asked to call back the following day to sort it out once they'd had a chance to check with the manager.\\nAll in all, it certainly wasn't a 'speedy' service.
