I use this chemist all the time. Very convenient with GP surgery next door. Never had a problem in 2 years. Staff are very nice. Friendly and efficient. Lacey was very helpful yesterday. Thanks.

Staff very helpful, polite & knowledgeable. Best pharmacy I have used having tried Lloyd's & The Hub Pharmacy. Cohens offer basically all services you would hope for & aim for efficient customer service. Glad I changed to Cohens.

I arrived at the chemists at 6.03pm all locked up and NO ONE around, NOW they knew I was coming for life saving medication for my son! I said I might be just a few minutes late as I was fighting traffic from work. The young girl I spoke to was NOT helpful. It's like they just didn't want to fill the epilepsy medication, despite knowing I was on my way to collect it!No one seems to care at all anymore! I will NOT ever use them or recommend them to ANYONE! Absolutely shocking! No duty of care to help a vulnerable person with a life threatening disability who needed a specific medication they had that was hard to get at another pharmacy!

Twice now i've had dangerous medication and without a receipt they won't even acknowledge there might be a problem. What really annoyed me though and the reason for the one star rating was the pharmacists attitude today. The first issue was with a bottle seal that wasnt sealed when i bought it. That was sorted fine. But today I brought back some pills that had obviously been manufactured wrong. The plastic seal around the medication had clearly been missed in whatever machine they used. This meant none of the pills were actually sealed in and some of the plastic had been melted onto the pills themselves. I'd already taken a strip's worth as i'd not noticed and assumed the crumbly texture was due to me having squished them in my bag. But instead of seeming concerned that there was a real dangerous issue with a brand of pills they were still clearly selling on their shelves - the pharmacist just said i couldnt prove they had sold them to me so they would do nothing. I pointed out that it was their brand and that they still had the exact box on the shelf. She wouldnt discuss it. The rest of the staff were all fine and helpful and i've never had a problem there before. (i go in maybe once a month for years now.) But this pharmacist's attitude alarmed me. Dangerous pills sold and her only concern was to make sure i knew that i had to prove they had sold them to me. Not even an inkling of concern that faulty packaging might exist on products they were selling - e.g. "well, they are our brand so we'll make sure to report this up the chain for them to investigate" She didn't even turn around to look at her shelf with the boxes on, let alone actually try opening one of the boxes to check the rest weren't like that. And the most smug smile you've ever seen each time she repeated "i'm not calling you a liar sir, but you have to prove you bought them here". I think that was a horrifically worrying attitude for her to have. If it were my pharmacy, not only would i have started opening boxes to check remaining stock (doesnt make them unusable to check them, they're not sealed) but i would have also photographed or asked for the damaged goods in order to report the flaw to my superiors and the manufacturer for them to investigate. But like i said, she didnt even turn round to look at the boxes. Her only concern was making sure i didn't get my £1.90 back. Unfortunately if that's the pharmacists attitude i would recommend walking the 10 yards to the next two pharmacies. I will be doing so from now on.

Service and staff pleasant just like they were on market street. But the pharmacy now on Gillibrand Street is too small it's like a cubicle, I'd probably go elsewhere at busy times as they only have a waiting area for 3 people therfore at busy times you'd probably have to stand outside
