Awful Waterstones store, possibly the worst one I've visited after being a loyal customer for over 30 years.No hello or greeting in very, very quiet store. Wasn't asked if I needed help either - which I did. The man behind the till was too busy flirting with a female staff to give customers any help or service. It was very cringe. I won't be visiting again. I'll go to Preston instead - much better service.

Beautiful bookstore, nice, peaceful and a wide range of categories and books to choose from. Definitely worth a visit, especially for bookworms.

One of the mainstream bookshops in BP town centre but can't order in different editions of books, ie. with a different cover (it would mean a lot to my mate if possible). Still, there's a wide range of things there and been going for years

Decent enough shop, providing you like Waterstones. In the absence of an independent bookshop, it'll do. Has the same problem as all Waterstones in that you have to leaf through several copies of a book to find one that isn't dog-eared.
