Absolutely appalling attitude from the " Store Manager " when returning a faulty tech item . She was extremely rude and dismissive when I challenged her with her companies own wording on the " Returns " T&C statement when returning an item well within the required 30 days, saying " she did not write it and I should take it up with head office " . At one point she stormed off and refused to help me whereupon I had to call customer services. I asked to see her again and only after I informed her that I had spoken to Customer Services she then offered to send the item for repair . Needless to say I am extremely disappointed and will NEVER shop at Argos again !!

Appalling treatment by argosOrdered a garden storage box for my mother in law who is house bound and can't get out and to be delivered to her home we paid by card, on delivery the driver was asked if he could please carry the item in the hallway for her as it was heavy which he did very reluctantly and in the process caught her in the stomach, when the driver had gone she realised that the box was damaged and on opening the item inside was too, so we went in to our local argos where the item was ordered and told them so the item was arranged to be collected which they did and we was told that we would get a refund in 5 working days this was 10th October, fast forward to today 18th October still no refund so rang up only to be told the refund had only just been processed and we will have to wait ANOTHER 5 days for a refund so that is now 10 days in total, absolutely appalling treatment by argos,so beware when ordering anything big check it while the driver is there as you will have problems getting a refund, Argos really needs to change their refund policy.Date of experience: 18 October 2023

I bought a Harry Lime Smart watch for my birthday in March this year and following continual problems I took it back this week and was served by Kayla. What OUTSTANDING customer service she delivered I was dreading going to the store and losing my beloved watch but Kayla replaced it immediately. She was swift, friendly, polite and reassuring by explaining clearly about the guarentee and that my watch didn't need to be sent off. I was stunned by how great my experience was and I dearly hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

I bought a DVD player online and it stated that a HDMI cable was frequently bought together with the player. So I did buy them both, but once I received the parcel it became apparent that it wasn't a HDMI cable that I needed but a scart lead!So why why why fookin why advertise the wrong cable???? Plebs

My hubby bought me a eco zinc bike only rode it twice got it out now weather is nice and it dose not work they say can't return it even thou it's 12 maths warranty argos say I have to go throu the manufacturer but we can get any response surely if our buy something as expensive as this they should refund or is alot of money to not be able to get a refund or a replacement never again will we buy from argos againat least give me another bike 800 pound

The Argos manager Blackpool Sainsbury's I believe her name is Kaz quite a large lady with blonde hair and glasses extremely rude I was trying to explain to her that when exchanging an item she is going to get them mixed up she wouldn't listen to me and the product that I was exchanging was then mixed up and I couldn't tell which one was broken and which one wasn't absolutely ridiculous this member staff should be sacked immediately

Actually shocked about their quality of customer service and procedures to prevent fraud.So.. I bought a PlayStation 5 online, I wasn't told about needing any photo ID. However, luckily I always carry a few forms of ID..I get to the checkout with my receipt and provide my Photo ID. As this was a few months out of date I was told they couldn't serve me even though I could provide proof of the transaction, show and make a purchase with the card I used to make this order and show my bank statement. I was told by the slightly dim member of staff I could get someone else to use their photo ID.This is where I'm stumped as to their logic, if I was to ring your bank and didn't know your information, would I be able to proceed with somebody else's information? No.I did eventually get this sorted by getting a complete stranger to show their photo ID and am now the happy owner of a PS5. I seriously think you should retrain your staff or update your policies - imagine if my emails got hacked and someone went in store with their own photo ID? I'd be £540 down.Will stick to amazon in future.

The argos in the sainsburys store a staff member called Teddy was a massive help, really friendly, helped get our products to us quickly, really lovely
