Great garage and very helpful when I had an issue. Staff were knowledgeable and I got a curtesy car while mine was being looked it. They even gave me a keyring with my MOT date on it which was a nice touch.

My car was repaired by A&P Autos recently after it broke down when the alternator failed while I was on holiday in Lancashire. I was very impressed with the garage. The receptionist was always friendly and helpful when I rang up, the quote to replace the alternator was very competitive, and the work was completed promptly and without lots of extra charges. If I lived in the area I would certainly use this garage again.Service: Engine repair

Had intermittent problems starting my car. Rang A&P on a Friday morning, said come round straight away, discussed possible problems; battery or starter motor. Left car with them, got call around lunch time at home, the battery failed test, agreed price. Car ready, new battery fitted, mid afternoon. Very pleased with the same day service. The car had a fault with its air con which other garages had failed to diagnose.Problem was resolved very quickly with a full explanation of the fault and the repair.The cost of the repair was exceptionally fair.Excellent service from a very mannerly team.
