Very helpful lady in store but the company is awful to deal with. Lost count of the number of hours spent on the phone to them as stores are limited to their powers. They admit their errors but seemingly cannot fix them without me chasing every week. 3 stars for the store, 0 for the company

I went in to the Tonbridge shop with my sister who had problems with her phone. The assistant named Jim was so helpful he sorted her out and was so informative. My sister will be returning later for an upgrade.

Some of the deals are reasonable, and you generally get a good signal. If not, they have a Suresignal device for around £50 that routes your mobile data over the internet (full signal at home via the sure signal device). Note, many modern phones do calls over wi-fi so a suresignal device may not be necessary. Check for this feature first.In terms of the shop, I find that if the staff are busy, they don't say "I'll be 20 mins, would you like to come back then?" or something similarly useful, they just tend to ignore you completely, in my experience.Best check the deals on the internet first, then stop by when it's not too busy.I've found the customer service in other stores equally bad though, at times (e.g. Carphone Warehouse) so not a reason to avoid Vodafone, just things to be wary of and a need to do your homework before visiting the store.
