Machines seem old with dedicated machines for specific things eg cheque deposits only. Other banks have multi tasking machines.In addition and worse - No sense of urgency from staff. Customers waiting and then leaving without been helped or even spoken to. May as well replace the lot with robots. Oh - that's on the way I'm sure.

Used to be really good, but not having the same business bank manger year on year never looks good. sometimes i wont hear from anyone for 2 years, not worth calling them as that never works. So far this year 3 deals inc a business mortgage has been done through other companies because the bank managers don't get to you.

First class bank, we applied for a mortgage in the summer and it was approved within two hours, they also advised us of all the insurances we would need which saved us £50 per month for the same cover as we previously had on life insurance and building and contents cover.HSBC have always approved any credit we have needed over the years and always given us the best rates around, I have banked with them since Jan 2000 and wouldn?t change.
